When we first started Weekend Rush in the early 1990 there were no tiny mobiles you could slip in your pocket.
The phone we had was like carrying a car battery with a phone stuck on top of it. Proper heavy.
You didn’t just walk around chatting on it ,you had to lift the thing like you were moving equipment. And if you accidentally dropped it on your toe, that was it… show over.
You’d be hopping around the room while everyone else was laughing. In those days, the real risk wasn’t just the DTI turning up , it was that phone landing on your foot 😅📡🔥
