I was planning on making progress on main trails , thought to complete side quest for XP boost and damn wasted my last 2 hours , can’t play more have office in morning

March I was starting new job in faang, I was super anxious on ai daily updates . So decided to learn like I know nothing.

FIRST : complete all Anthropic courses learnt about mcp , agents , skills , subagents, evals

Next just locked 1 hour daily for deep dive videos

Few high recommend:

Andrej karapathy: deep dive into llms, how to use llms

few YouTube videos on Ralph plugin , prd

I showcased all my learning to my manager and she was so impressed she assigned me to work directly with AI lead ( principal engineer of ai initiatives )

Now April I built 4 projects

Whoop MCP : 800+ downloads, this was my attempt to try to manage full GitHub repo by agents
and it worked

Next : Research buddy agent
Next : YouTube analysis deep multi agent flow
Next my most fav : backend skill to fix ai slop
Genius of this skill I am so happy with is , instead of instructions it triggers a search over knowledge base via few commands
Result : backend review without any token usage

I would suggest keep building and learn by doing

Few tips :
For coding use spec->plan->build->ship
Have security audit and code review as subagents with context engineering after each build.

Few weeks back I started my YouTube channel currently at 26 subs it’s on learning agentic ai.

Got to learn lot on YouTube so created multiple subagents to deep analyse videos daily shared that on Reddit.

Lot of folks liked it

So packaged it as service

Last year aug I was preparing for MBA r2 application, I am only earner in family been working in corporate for 6 years with a dream to one day go for higher studies

I took few my own annual leaves to prepare application, endup sharing with one colleague that I am applying to MIT , they spread rumour and eventually that lead to pip in couple months.

I was too much in stress , same time my girlfriend decided to cheat on me.
So starting sep I was both jobless and going through breakup with Diwali coming around.

I did receive severance money but gov deducted 7 lac inr from it

Oct - Nov : I gave few interviews , almost cleared stripe Dublin
Dec : hiring freeze so took break , but mid Dec google recruiter called so started studying.

New year when everyone was celebrating I was thinking how did life collapsed this much.

I planned will clear a job in jan and take first solo international trip.

8 Jan gave google initial round tanked it in anxiety
Luckily got Microsoft interview call
Then later google reached for reinterview as they had previous interview data and recruiter thought anxiety tanked it

By next 2 weeks I cleared microsoft, missed google after all round because of tending positive system design

But my goal was met: Got 50% hike and Japan trip

Every night is followed by Day , just keep faith in yourself
