Hi folks, any idea how I can clean this yellow stain? Bleach didn't work.
I'm having a few issues with TyreLeader.ie and was hoping for some advice.
I recently bought 4 new budget tyres (€90 each) as my old ones were worn out. I'm planning to change my car early next year, so I didn't want to spend a fortune.
After fitting them, I noticed severe vibrations at 100–120 km/h. The garage re-balanced the wheels and swapped the tyres front to back, but they had to use unusually large amounts of balancing weights and said this could indicate defective tyres.
That didn't help so I then paid €120 for road force balancing. The left wheel achieved a good road force value (5.0), but still required 115g of weights. The right wheel still needed around 100g, which the garage said strongly suggests a tyre defect.
I opened a claim with TyreLeader, but they require me to send the tyres to the manufacturer for inspection, which could take weeks or even months (their words). During that time I'd have to buy another set of tyres (around €400) just to keep the car on the road.
Is this standard practice? I expected the retailer to replace the tyres first and deal with the manufacturer themselves. Has anyone had a similar experience?
The second issue is their warranty. Last weekend I picked up a nail, and the tyre is beyond repair (I posted about it previously). I bought their tyre warranty which is explained on their website as per the screenshot so was expecting it to cover this, but they replied:
>
So it seems they're treating a normal puncture as negligence, making the warranty effectively useless. Has anyone successfully claimed under their warranty?
Hi folks, I have a screw in the rear tyre. Went to the garage to remove it but they said it's too close to the edge of the tyre so cant6be repaired and the tyre needs to be replaced. The thing is I bought set of 4 tyres 3 weeks ago and would need to replace both rear tyres which is simply shite. Ty tyre is slowly loosing pressure as well like 2psi a day. Can't this be somehow fixed or the replacement is my only option?
Hello all, I know that this watch appears here quite often but I would still appreciate the QC from experienced users.
Can someone explain why prices increase so much between phases of new-build developments?
From what I've noticed, houses in each new phase often go up by around €20k-€40k, depending on the estate and developer. I genuinely don't understand the justification for these increases.
The land has already been purchased, houses were designed and while material and labour costs do rise, they don't typically increase by that much from one year to the next. The houses themselves are often identical, with no additional features or improvements.
I understand that this is largely a supply-and-demand issue, but shouldn't the government intervene to prevent these kinds of price hikes? As it stands, it seems like they mainly benefit developers and estate agents, while making homeownership even less affordable for buyers.
Was walking past this car and i couldn't recognise it so took the reg number to check it later. The reg is 242-d-6594. It doesn't come up on cartell or motor check. Any ideas why?
Hi folks, I'm having issue with very slow drain in my bathroom basin. It started during the weekend.

I firstly used the hair clog remover liquid but no there was no change. I then removed the siphon until it goes to the wall (within blue lines) and there is no clog or hair residue in that part either.

Would it be possible that the clog is "further down" behind the wall?
Is there anything else I can do myself before getting the plumber?
What're the small antennas and what are they for?
I’m not sure if it’s just me, but I find most Irish houses badly designed and poorly planned, especially when it comes to storage space or rather the lack of it.
When we bought our house, the first thing we did was add understairs storage for coats and shoes because there’s very little space in the hallway. The best examples are the houses in the screenshots. Both new builds, both types going for over €900k - yet there’s no space in the hall for shoe storage, coats, or even somewhere to keep kids’ bikes or scooters. Am I really supposed to start moving walls and creating space for wardrobes straight after getting the keys?
I genuinely don’t understand the reason behind it. Is it really that difficult to design and build a house that’s actually functional?
If there are any architects or designers here, I’d genuinely love to hear your feedback on this.

Hi folks, I'm torn between two cars, and would love to hear your thoughts.
Audi q8 etron from the link
Or new skoda enyaq coupe.
Price wise they're pretty close. The quality of Audi is much better but it's a used car.
Any suggestions?
