i was holding her for NOT EVEN 5 MINUTES, letting my friends rub her butt and scratch behind her ears as she loves those 2 places being pet lol THEN SHE PEES ON ME!! A LOT TOO 🫪😂

hey guys, i have some questions!

so, this is my sisters pet. she loves it dearly & so do her kids. my only concern is that i dont think his enclosure is appropriate.

she has a 40 gallon long tank for him. the entire tank has about 3 inches of coco soil & on one side she has a puppy pad to monitor his poo & pee but also rocks to keep him cool if he needs to be.

she has an egg carton hide & he LOVES to go in and sleep in an egg holder part lol she has a bowl of water for him but also mists 2-3 times a day. she has his paste food, the pet store told her that if she stays on the paste diet, he doesnt need real insects?

anyway, im just asking is there any upgrading she can do?

keep in mind she is autistic & doesnt take criticism well, so just word yourself differently xD ill be showing her the comments as shes asked me to.

i do plan on buying her gecko suction plants & a hammock when i go visit but ive never had a lizard before so i know nothing about them lol

Bucatstate is running late on shipment! So until we receive it, a new setup is needed! Yes we’re using multiple laptops as a lid bc i broke her lid LMAO there’s 3 inch gaps in between where she cant get out to allow ventilation!

So excited for her Bucatstate, i’ll be able to add everything she has in there!

Bedding is 10-11 inches at the highest point. My hamster is a bottom digger, she doesnt like to go upwards. i took out her tunnel bridge & replaced it with a toilet paper roll to encourage upward digging. DONT WORRY ITS CUT ALL THE WAY DOWN THE MIDDLE, she will not get stuck!

Yes she has lots of food in her bowl, thats ONLY because its the end of her bag & its mainly crumbs so i just poured it all so she can grab what she wants before i toss it. Same with her other food beside it, she takes what she wants & then i remove the rest!
