Sensitive dry skin, anyone tried Cosmedica skincare Vitamin C super serum?

I turned 53 last week, and yeah, I've always had a dry skin, that tight feeling after cleansing, flakiness around my nose and cheeks. The whole thing has only increased as i got older. I've been trying to stop the cycle of switching products and focus on hydration and barrier repair but stuck.

I've picked up the Vitamin C super serum and some moisturizer from CeraVe, but I'll like to know what’s worked for you. Is there any gal here with dry and sensitive skin like me? What have you used that helped? Thank you

[H] 3 slots Paramount+ (Showtime Bundle) [W] $7/month

Dutton Ranch drops on the 15th and I’m not missing the return of the Yellowstone universe. I have the top-tier plan with Showtime included. 3 slots open. The Access Box handles the live CBS feed perfectly too if you need local news.

The FDA just released a draft guidance for GLP-1 tapering protocols and they want feedback from patients by June 30th

This is buried in the Federal Register from last week and I gotta talk about it. The FDA is asking for public comment on how to safely taper patients off GLP-1s when needed (e.g., for surgery or side effects). They're specifically asking about dose reduction schedules, monitoring, and patient-reported outcomes. This is our chance to weigh in.

The comment period closes June 30, 2026. I'm planning to write something about how abrupt discontinuation causes rapid hunger rebound.

Overwhelmed by the "Big Six" (Oticon, Phonak, Starkey...). What's the actual difference?

I am 40 years old and newly diagnosed with moderate hearing loss, and drowning in identical marketing jargon from the "Big Six" brands (natural sound, smart processing, etc.). Is there a tangible, real-world difference between an Oticon Real and a Phonak Lumity, or is this just Coke vs. Pepsi?

What I really want is a true "set it and forget it" experience without constantly tweaking an app. Which brand offers the best automation that seamlessly adapts when I move from a quiet car to a chaotic grocery store?

Best workout apps for beginners in 2026 after testing the top ones

I started this journey down 50 pounds ago and lifting has been the single biggest change for me. Cardio helped at first but adding strength training has been what's kept the weight off and changed how I look. The hard part for a total beginner is figuring out what to actually do in the gym and the apps make a huge difference here. Here's what I've tried and what worked.

Boostcamp ended up being my main app because it's free, it's polished and has actual beginner programs already built in, like greg nuckols beginner program, the basic PPL, plus a bunch of bodyweight options if you're not gym ready yet. You pick one and it tells you exactly what to do each day.

Caliber is good if you want a more guided experience and don't mind a paid app. They give you a coach built plan based on your goals.

Fitbod is popular and the algorithm picks workouts for you. I personally found it didn't progress me consistently because the workouts changed too much but a lot of people love it. Free trial then paid.

Strong and hevy I'd save for once you're a few months in and want to design your own. As a beginner, having a program decided for you is so much better than building one.

For weight loss specifically, I'd skip anything that promises to burn fat. Just lift and eat in a deficit and walking helps too. The app's job is just to take the planning off your plate so you actually show up.

Are there any Type 1 diabetics here who have been prescribed a GLP-1 off-label?

I have Type 1 diabetes, and my endo has been hesitant to prescribe a GLP-1 because "there's not enough data." However, there were new real-world studies presented at AACE 2026 this month showing that for adults with Type 1 diabetes, off-label GLP-1 use was not associated with an increased risk of diabetic ketoacidosis or pancreatitis and might actually be linked to lower overall hospitalization rates. For those of us struggling with weight and insulin resistance on top of managing blood sugars, this is really promising data to bring to our next appointment.

reta fixed my porn addiction

This is a little personal but I think it's worth saying out loud. I had a pretty bad porn habit for years, genuinely compulsive, and somewhere around week four on reta it just lost its hold on me almost completely. I've since read that GLP-1s can affect compulsive reward-seeking behavior across the board and that tracks with my experience. Started filling that time with the gym instead, lost weight, got more confident, and my social life improved in ways I genuinely didn't expect. Not the reason I started reta but honestly one of the bigger wins from it.

Reta worked a little too well to the point it took the fat way too fast and left me with loose skin

I used Reta to lose about 40 pounds in record time, but the fat came off so fast that now I’m stuck with loose skin everywhere. I thought I’d look great once the weight was gone, but the rapid loss left me looking soft and I have skin hanging in spots where I used to be bulky. It is frustrating because I finally reached my goal weight but I feel like I look worse than when I started. Has anyone used a specific peptide stack to help with skin tightening or elasticity while they were still on a run? I really want to fix this without having to look into surgery or something extreme.

Wind noise is making my daily dog walks unbearable.

Taking my dog for his daily stroll used to be my favorite activity, but now it's incredibly frustrating due to the constant breeze in my city. With my current devices, even a light gust sounds like a deafening hurricane right inside my head. The rushing wind completely overpowers important sounds like approaching cars and ruins the peacefulness of being outside.

I know top-tier prescription devices have advanced wind-cancellation technology, but the prices I've been quoted are astronomical. I shouldn't have to choose between walking in silence or enduring an auditory wind tunnel.

Has anyone successfully conquered this issue without spending a fortune? Are there specific mid-tier models or physical designs that naturally block the breeze? I've also seen little fuzzy wind muff accessories online, do those actually provide relief, or are they a waste of money? Any advice would save our daily walks!

Just switched over from an Ender 3 Pro to a SparkX i7 recently and still in that “testing everything” phase. figured I’d share how it’s been going so far and see what others are experiencing.

coming from the Ender, the overall workflow feels pretty different. I didn’t realize how much time I was spending tweaking and checking things before until now. this one feels a lot more straightforward to get going, at least for basic prints. speed is the first thing I noticed. I’m not even pushing it hard yet, just running fairly normal settings, but prints are finishing way quicker than what I’m used to. still trying to see where the limit is without messing up quality.

I also gave multicolor a shot for the first time. wasn’t perfect right away, had to mess around a bit with transitions, but after a couple tries it started looking decent. definitely something I need more time with. so far I’ve run a few different things just to get a feel for it. a simple color test, vase, and a small functional piece. nothing too crazy, but results have been pretty consistent without much adjustment. no major problems yet, which honestly surprised me a bit. still early though, so I’m expecting to run into some quirks once I try more materials.

if anyone else has been using the i7 for a while, what settings or tweaks made the biggest difference for you? especially curious about multicolor tuning.

The full phase 3 results for CagriSema (semaglutide + cagrilintide fixed-dose combo) were published in The Lancet last month. The REDEFINE 1 trial enrolled 3,417 adults with obesity or overweight without diabetes. At 68 weeks, participants on CagriSema lost 22.7% of their body weight compared to 11.6% on semaglutide alone. The dropout rate was about 13% due to GI side effects, which is higher than semaglutide alone but comparable to higher-dose tirzepatide trials.

The drug combo seems to hit different pathways. Cagrilintide is an amylin analogue, it works on different receptors than GLP-1s. The idea is that targeting multiple systems produces synergistic effects. Novo Nordisk has said they plan to file for FDA approval in the first half of 2026. For those of us who have stalled on existing meds, this could be the next step.

Not gonna lie, I keep seeing this THCA flower stuff everywhere lately and I still don’t fully get it. Like… it literally looks like normal weed. Same buds, same names, same everything. But then people are saying it’s “hemp” and legal in some places? That part is where I get confused. From what I understand, it’s basically regular-looking cannabis, but technically classified as hemp because of the low delta-9 THC levels… even though once it’s heated it converts into THC anyway.

For people who’ve tried it, does it feel the same or is there a noticeable difference in potency/effects? Is THCA flower actually different from what you’d get from a dispensary, or is it basically the same thing under a different label?

Looking forward to you all suggestions!

Hey everyone,

I’ve been running a small business here in Singapore and tried a few digital marketing agencies, but honestly, the results have been pretty underwhelming. Poor communication, slow responses, and strategies that don’t seem to work for smaller businesses.

Has anyone had any luck with an agency that really understands the challenges of small businesses in Singapore? Would love some recommendations.
