Buying 1st handgun, shortlist:

Buying 1st handgun, shortlist:

I'm buying my first handgun, I'm Italian so I'm looking at what the market offers her. I'm going to buy a full size polymer striker fired pistol in 9mm.

Main use is going to be tactical exercises for fun and some range shooting, this is not going to be a home defense weapon. Ill use it with a red dot.

My short list (which surprisingly doesn't include a Beretta) is:

- HS Echelon, ported - around 800€

- HK sfp9f A1 - around 1300€

- BUL AXE FS - around 1200€

If anyone tried more than one of these and cares to offer insights, I'd be thankful.

Looking for a chest rig... but Pencott?

I'm looking to buy a Chest Rig, and I love Pencott camo. Direct Action Gear makes some.

Is it going to be too limiting in buying accessories like magazine pouches and so on?

The alternative would be a confortable multicam rig, maybe from Agilite.

Shooting in movment

I tried shooting prone, from bench rest and even standing... but nothing could prepare me to how difficult it is to shoot while walking, even if it is in a strait line.

I was aiming at a metal plate at 70-30 meters and I got it one time out of four shots.

Did anyone find some trick to get better, other than trying again, again and again?

My trainer explained that you have to shot when a feet is not touching the ground, which helped. But my torso is tilting left and right so much, I never realized that! :-)

Fun at the range.

I mostly shoot my .223 Ar15 at 300-400 meters, but some times it's fun to use it almost like it was intended originally (this is NOT automatic fire, obviously).

My current trigger and muzzle brake combination allow for a very flat behavior with zero rise and negligible recoil. The only limit is the shooter (me).

I'm training small muscles to provide more stability, and trying to improve stance and use of the sling.

Feel free to dive any advice on how to improve.

Is this chest rig from Agilite going to be comfortable and effective , with some ammo pouches, for dynamic shooting drills?

I feel like I don't need anything more complicated than this. I would maybe add an admin pouch for my smartphone or one of those smartphone carriers (assuming that it is possible)
