is garmi mei workout bad for body?

22M, 85kg, 5'8.

I have made my own gym in my house and I workout there, without air conditioner. there's just a fan so nothing else than windows.

my parents say, "garmi mei exercise nahi kartay, body pe bura agar parta hai"... both of them are fat and obese. I don't wanna be like them, also we have genetic diabetes running in the family, so I would do my best to avoid that.

My question: is workout in garmi bad for health? because health is important. I can workout only if I'm in good health

"celebrating" muharram or learning the message

so called Muslims would spend money in the name of naikiaan kamana on Muharram days but would never ask their neighbor if they've eaten dinner, would never lower their gaze to make women safe, would never allow someone to grow and will never stop leg-pulling.

the message of Muharram is sacrificing one's own self for the bigger cause and greater good. but Desi people will never absorb the message because it's boring.

they'll do all kinds of dhol dhamaka, carrying a horse for someone reason blocking miles of roads to complete a ritual which isn't even a sunnah.

I'm not targeting a certain sect, I'm targeting the whole nation.

hum wo qoum hain jisay dusre ki takleef mei maza aata hai.

just now, a 7-8 year old kid holding a stick hit the gate if my house several times. I got up to see what's going on, through a window I could see that kid hitting and waiting for someone to open the door out of annoyance.

if the kid is sadist, imagine the parents. that kid will grow up and be part of this culture. well, sadly, that kid will grow up to do the same dhol dhamaka on Muharram because sacrificing your own "fun" for someone else's peace wasn't taught in the childhood.

it's sad, what our religion is portrayed as, and how islam actually is. it's just sad.

you wanna take a message out of Muharram?

sacrificing yourself for a greater good, to protect what's important, and being a good Muslim not a good portrait but the being.

they demand a test

after first screening they asked me to appear for a test, which I'm not sure what is about. it's a reporting analyst job. I have worked in Sales analysis before, I don't know what they expect from me.

moreover what portfolio projects should I make and what practice should I do, just in case?

BPS grade but want to do a job, how?

I'm a govt employee hence we're not allowed to do any other job alongside this job. but expenses are too much and I need to do something for my family. I'm a BPS-16 lecturer and salary is around 140k.

if I do another job, how can I acquire that in my account since FBR is monitoring and sends a notice whenever any amount is credited (my colleagues have faced consequences so ik being cautious) .

I'd really appreciate the advice of this community thanks.

(yes I have started investing in stockes and Mutual Funds/Etfs...after reading this community)

but rn my aim is to increase my income while doing my current job.

why desi people are hypocrites?

judging people by how much they earn, where they do a job, what are the unemployed people of family doing to survive?

and the old hags of the families will ask every personal question that will make others feel embarrassed at the family table, except themselves. and they all start picking on each other, cross questioning personal questions.

wtf is this desi shit? you either be a lovely family or don't sit at the same table if you are jealous of each other. just because someone's son is making 10 lac a month doesn't make other men on the table (who're making 70k-150k) worthless, each person deserves respect regardless.

well, these old aunties will scan women up & down, judging the sizes (you know what I'm talking about) of newly married women, and the body shaming is peak. the men sit silently, scared if one woman will explode on the table, it'll give a trickle down effect. taunts & subtle tactics are so disturbing, hurting the bonds, specially for cousins who are just sitting together to have a good time.

in family meetings, the arranged marriage son-in-law will be cared for as if he is the King of the world, and the love marriage son-in-law will be taken for granted, why?

because the couple took the decision of marriage in their own hands instead of being traumatized by their elders? mind you, those arranged marriage couples aren't happy together most of the time, they grow old to be the typical hypocritical elders who I'm ranting about.

that's all folks, I've decided, when I get married I'll take my wife to live separately on rent, away from this painful shitshow.

trying to move out of my parents house-what to collect?

decided to move out bcz of suggestions of the redditers here, plus that made the only logical sense to LIVE MY LIFE. coz apparently instead of talking things through, my parents are going to some "Baba G", with things written on it including, " our son doesn't talk to us, do something Baba G"... like are they serious? never mind, I gotta focus on my mental & emotional health.

what things should I collect from my parents/this place? I have my document of matric, FSc, BSc degree, academic certificate, FRC card. what else?

like, I'm renting a portion of house, so it'll be around 30k-40k. other than that, I'll have a cupboard there, water supply... could y'all give me a list of things I need while being independent.

a human needs shelter, clothes, food.

I'll cook my own food, I have clothes, and I'm renting. I'm talking about refrigerator, oven, bed(optional: I sleep on floor in my parents house), and other things as such.

currently pursuing MSc in my home country Computer Science. 2 semesters are completed. I opted for TA position bcz my fee would be waived off. hence, I left my corporate job(which had it's own issues) took a 20% cut on my salary & I opted for TA teaching the BSc Data science students.

almost 8 months later, I'm so done with teaching. I understand students are troublesome in themselves but the administration is so sick. I'm being assigned tasks & work of being an admin/coordinator of the department. the colleagues are bearable, kinda fun. but the salary doesn't match the job responsibilities.

I know I'm in much better condition than some people who aren't pursuing MSc or having a job. my peers (friends from BSc) admire the fact that I'm doing a job & pursuing grad studies. But you know how academia works. it's too demanding as compared to the compensation.

I'll try to get it done with and go for an industrial job.

hi, I'm 25M. MSc CS. teaching for 2 years in a university.

I was working in industry while doing bachelor, I have 2 years of professional development experience in Python, Django, Sql.

I moved into academia thinking it'll be interesting to teach and it was in the start. But now I'm just an underpaid worker, students are so bad in attitude, nobody wants to learn, they just want to get good grades, students don't want to think...and it hurts me to say but the authority also doesn't care if students are interested in studying or understanding. They just blame the teacher for bad grades of students. I have seem nepotism right in front of me and I couldn't do anything.

I wanna go back to industry.

I teach PF, OOP, DB, DSA. all core subjects.

I'm looking into roles of data analysis data science. anyone with experience in this industry, kindly let me know how to breakthrough into mid-to-senior position.
