"Feels like" temp is currently 109°F - nearly 43° Celsius for the rest of the world. How're y'all managing?

Our local wildlife rehabilitators visited the library and had the CUTEST animal ambassadors!

I'm a librarian and we have a free cart where the library puts weeded material for the community to take, and where people can donate their own books. The other day this one popped up on the cart and I knew it would be fascinating, having been published so soon after the attacks.

Some interesting things I noted: the timeline is slightly off. It lists the first plane as hitting at 8:48 rather than 8:46, and the second at 9:06 rather than 9:03.

There are no estimates of the death toll until the Oprah quote at the very end of the book which says 6,000.

Some stories are oft-repeated: Abe Zelmanowitz and Ed Beyea in WTC1; Jeremy Glick, Todd Beamer, Mark Bingham, and Thomas Burnett from Flight 93; the search & rescue dogs at ground zero. Others were new to me, at least, such as caver Russell Keat or retired FBI John O'Neill.

Did anyone else grow up playing Zoo Tycoon? I loved the first game but the snow leopards were so picky. I never kept them unless it was necessary for a challenge lol.
