[Setlist Thread] 2026-06-26 - Electric Forest, Rothbury, MI

We’re back for the second of two festival bookings to close out the Dogs’ June slate before their regular summer tour schedule resumes. The band most recently hit up Northlands up in New Hampshire last weekend, and now find themselves nearly a thousand miles westward in Michigan for the 14th edition of Electric Forest.

This festival originally launched as Rothbury Festival in 2008 before it re-branded a few years later with its current moniker. It's been a staple of the Western Michigan scene ever since, hosting EDM and jam acts annually since '11 (with a brief hiatus at the start of this decade for obvious reasons). The fest has always been here at the Double JJ Resort, a local four-seasons farm-turned-retreat spot that first opened in 1937 as the Jack and Jill Ranch. EF describes it as "the biggest western style dude ranch east of the Mississippi.” I don’t know how to fact-check that so let's just take their word for it.

The Dogs played this shindig once before during a run of eight consecutive festival shows in summer ‘23, and this part of Michigan has also been host to multiple bookings in nearby Grand Rapids (1 hr SE) and Kalamazoo (2 hr SE) in the last year. The Mitten has been a rapidly rising market for the band - u/ThatDoodch loves to remind people he was one of maybe 10 attendees that were present at the first Dogs show in Michigan just under four years ago.

It’ll be a much larger crowd for their 15th show in the state tonight, that’s for sure. Electric Forest is sold out! Around 50,000 are expected to be here throughout the weekend, and while all are not necessarily gonna see the Dogs, there is a great chance we end up welcoming some new heads to the Pound this weekend.

The band goes on The Observatory Stage at 10:30 PM Friday night and has 75 minutes to do their thing. I’m not aware of a livestream for this one, but there’s been a bunch of new live videos posted on YouTube this week you can check out if you’re jonesin’ (including the full two-night run in Seattle from this January). We’re only two weeks away from the return of proper headlining shows starting Friday, July 10 in Canandaigua!

PRE-SHOW TUNES

  • 2023-06-25 - Rothbury, MI - Last time the Dogs were at Electric Forest, Jeff Arevalo was still in Goose! He featured on percussion for the Bent>Ghost Riders>Strange sandwich here, during what I've always thought was a great setlist for an EDM fest.

  • 2024-11-17 - Grand Rapids, MI - I’m throwing this one here selfishly because it is the only Michigan Dogs show I’ve ever attended, and I will always take a chance to glaze Nov. 2024 whenever possible. This show marked the end of a three-night run around the Great Lakes, and had some surprise appearances from Sneezy, who had been on the road opening for the Dogs throughout the midwest.

Highest Dogs shows (by elevation) on record

Okay - take two! These are what I believe to be the highest altitude Dogs shows on record (thank you very much to u/DearChicago1876 who correctly pointed out on the original post that I mistakenly left Dillon off the list).

I attempted to get the altitude for the specific venues the band played when possible (e.g., Dillon Amp is at a lower altitude than the city itself), When that info wasn't available, I fell back to the city's listed altitude online.

Did I miss anything?

[Setlist Thread] 2026-06-20 - Northlands, Swanzey, NH

It’s been a minute! Summer tour has slowed to a bit of a crawl as the Dogs have made it closer to home after spending half a month on the road out west. The band’s regular touring schedule won’t fully resume for another three weeks, but we have two festival gigs over the next few weekends to tide us over in the interim.

First up is Northlands Music and Arts Festival. This New Hampshire-based jam fest has been ongoing under its current banner since ‘21 at the Cheshire Fairgrounds in Swanzey, and the Dogs have two previous appearances under their belt.

Outside their trips to Northlands and other NH fests, the band hasn't played New Hampshire as much as you'd think given its proximity to their home base(s) in NY/NJ. We have just nine previous shows in the state on record, five of which for were fests or private events. The Dogs haven't actually played this state since they booked two nights at The Stone Church in Newmarket in August '23, just two months after their last trip to Northlands. They’ve been nearby of course (this spot’s only two hours from Boston), but today is a great chance for the NH Pound to finally get some Dogs on their home turf.

The band only got an hour on stage the last time they were here, but they've been upgraded to 90 minutes this time around. If you’re subbed up on Nugs, you can watch the shenanigans go down on stage yourself. If you’re there IRL, bring your rain gear - it looks like it gon' be wet! The stream will start at 2 PM EDT and will cycle through Kanika Moore-> Yonder Mountain-> The Slip-> Lotus before arriving at Dogs at 6:30 PM. JRAD caps off the night with two sets, and the Dogs will be back on stage next weekend for Electric Forest.

  • 2023-06-17 - Swanzey, NH - This was the band's second trip to Northlands, and is notable for having some early performances of It Gets Better and Gumball, both of which the Dogs debuted earlier that year. It's a short set, but the band made their time count.

  • 2023-08-09 - Newmarket, NH - The last time the Dogs played a show in NH, Brian didn't have a voice! This was the first of a pair of Stone Church shows three summers ago, and the band had to get creative to account for one-less vocalist as Brian battled illness. Note who sings on Applesauce!

[Setlist Thread] 2026-06-14 - Ventura Music Hall, Ventura, CA

Tonight marks the end of a twelve-show run for the Dogs throughout the West that began on the edge of Yellowstone in southern Montana two weeks ago and ends tonight right outside of Los Angeles.

Ventura is hollowed ground for the band, as the city hosted the Dogs’ first-ever gig in the state more than three years ago back in April '23. I attended the show right before that debut, and the anticipation for the first trip out to the coast was palpable. The band was wrapping up their 2023 Colorado Residency with one final night at the tiny, cramped Lost Lake Lounge on Colfax in Denver. It was 2:30 AM in the middle of the week, we had just heard nearly four hours of music (still one of the two longest shows on record), and Jimmy, Sam, and Brian came out for a rare second encore. Brian thanked the audience for following the band around during the residency, and explained that they were about to play their first-ever show in California. They bid us farewell with their only performance of Zep’s Going to California to date, and went out west.

Three days later, they hit up Skull & Roses at the Ventura County Fairgrounds two miles down the road from tonight’s venue, a show that was memorable in its own right. The organizers had rigged up this rotating stage at the fest so that the bands before and after the current performers could set up/take down in the background, delivering non-stop music for attendees. Supposedly, the previous band, Brown-Eyed Women, was going over their allotted time with an epic Watchtower jam when the organizers just decided to rotate the stage for Dogs mid-peak. The Dogs joined in, finishing off the Watchtower jam before kicking off their set. That’s how the legend goes at least - I wasn’t there for that one!

This place apparently used to be a fusion bowling alley known as Discovery Ventura before it changed owners earlier this decade and rebranded to focus exclusively on live music. Doors open at 7 for this one, with Shaky Feelin' opening the show. Dogs get on stage at 9 PM for one extra-large set of music. They’ll get the week off touring before getting back in action out east for Northlands on Saturday.

  • 2023-04-22 - Ventura, CA - This was the Dogs’ California debut on Earth Day ‘23 during Skull & Roses, described above. Unfortunately, the band’s recording of the set doesn’t really give you the full picture of the change-over jam between BEW and Dogs, but if you hunt around you might be able to find some clips of the livestream.

  • 2025-09-19 - West Hollywood, CA - The Dogs’ most recent trip to the LA area in September included two nights at the historic Troubadour in West Hollywood. This was the second of the September pair with the band’s debuts of The Soft Parade and Gone Hollywood, but you can’t go wrong with the previous night as well.

[Setlist Thread] 2026-06-13 - The Guild Theatre, Menlo Park, CA

The Dogs continue to make figure eights around the U.S.A., or at least California. After last night’s show down in San Luis Obispo, the band is headed right back up the Cali coast for one final show in the Bay Area this tour.

Menlo Park and its county, San Mateo, are both first-time hosts for the band. The Dogs have typically played San Francisco or a neighboring city to the north when they’ve come out to the Bay Area in the past, but have never really ventured into Silicon Valley for a show before.

The Guild Theatre, site of today’s booking, is about 40 minutes south from Fog City and a little under an hour north of the Felton/Santa Cruz Area. Like Sherman Theater in PA, which the band played earlier this past spring, it’s a 501(c)(3) non-profit event space that originally began as a single-screen cinema in the mid-20th century. Despite the switch in focus to live music, the joint still has regular showings of The Rocky Horror Picture Show as a way to preserve the building’s legacy. It’s a heady spot, one that Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Molly Tuttle, and a host of other NoCal-based acts have played over the years. I was also reminded after posting this that it's a few blocks down from the former site of Magoo's Pizza, where the Dead played their first-ever shows!

Now, it’s the Dogs’ turn. Doors open at 7 tonight, with the band scheduled to take the stage at 8 for a two-set show. If you subscribe to Nugs, you can watch! After tonight, they’ll head back down south to Ventura to close the book on California for the summer.

PRE-SHOW TUNES

  • 2023-11-15 - San Francisco, CA - This was the band’s debut in San Francisco, which took place during their Fall ‘23 tour with PPPP. Among some of the earliest of their shows in California, and you could really tell the Dogs had something to prove to the locals every time they got on stage. If you only got time for an hour of music today, this is a good choice.

  • 2025-01-17 - San Francisco, CA - A year and a half after they made their debut in SF, the Dogs finally got a chance to headline a show in the city proper. This one took place a few days before the incredible Felton ‘25 gig, and it’s kind of infamous for how hot it got inside the venue. It was so bad that I have had multiple attendees tell me that this performance was a much better listen after the fact than it was in person! Despite being hot-as-balls (or maybe because of it), the band delivered a killer performance.

[Setlist Thread] 2026-06-12 - SLO Brew, San Luis Obispo, CA

After two heady midweek bookings in the Bay Area, the Dogs are back in action for three consecutive nights up and down California to close out the first third of their summer tour.

While the majority of this western tour has taken place at first-time cities and venues for the band, tonight’s host is up for a second serving of Dogs. The band first came out to San Luis Obispo just over two years ago during their ‘24 California residency, and this brewery in the center of downtown is where it all went down.

If you’ve been following this tour closely, you’ve noticed that brewpubs have been the venue of choice for the band out here in Cali. This one opened up in ‘88 and has been hosting live music and brewing choice bevvies ever since (if you’re a regular the Great American Beer Fest in Denver, chances are you might have already sampled their best work). Their standing capacity for shows is just over 300, so tonight is a great chance to catch the Dogs in an intimate setting.

As some of y'all have discussed in other posts, it's graduation weekend at Cal Poly, which means that accommodations are simultaneously slim and pricey. Assuming you managed to snag a place nearby, your reward tonight is two sets of Dogs for the first time in SLO (Strange Cake opened in 2024, truncating the Dogs to just one set of music). There’s no opener tonight: doors open at 7, Dogs on at 8 right as the US/Paraguay match comes to an end.

  • 2026-06-10 - Mill Valley, CA - The band’s last time out on stage this past Wednesday in Mill Valley was something special. Jason Crosby made a surprise appearance, leading to an absolutely unforgettable set 2. It’s tough to pick between this night and 5/30, but both are great candidates for the best show of tour so far. [Setlist Thread] 2026-06-10 - The Junction, Mill Valley, CA

Four down, four to go. We've reached the halfway mark of the California leg of the Dogs' summer tour, and it’s been a ripping week through the Golden State so far. The sun is shining, the World Cup is a day away, and the Dogs are shredding.

This night completes a pair of consecutive midweek bookings at two sister beer gardens in NoCal both called The Junction. Last night saw the two juicy sets in Santa Rosa and tonight hopes to offer more of the same in Mill Valley.

This is the Dogs’ first time in Bob Weir’s old hometown, but not their first in Marin County. They came through this part of the state just last September, playing 20 minutes north at HopMonk Tavern in Novato (if you’re hitting both of these Junction shows, you probably passed it on your way south from Santa Rosa). The venue tonight sits on the edge of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, and was originally home to an actual train depot, hence the Junction name. It became a chop shop sometime later before falling into disrepair, leading to new ownership in 2020 and The Junction Beer Garden and Bottle Shop as we know it today.

Like last night, this gig has an earlier start time than what’s listed on your (sold out) ticket. The band is set for two sets starting at 6:45 PM local time, so get there early! After the show, the Dogs get one day off to make the journey south towards San Luis Obispo. They'll then backtrack up north one final time to play Menlo Park before heading back down south again to close out this tour leg Sunday in Ventura.

[Setlist Thread] 2026-06-09 - The Junction, Santa Rosa, CA

We’re back for some mid-week Dogs. The band is continuing to roll through NoCal and is due up for two consecutive nights at sister venues in neighboring counties just north of San Francisco.

Both Santa Rosa and Mill Valley are first-time hosts for the Dogs, with this particular night serving as the band’s first-ever trip to Sonoma County. This is where Grateful Dead Country meets California Wine Country, and tonight’s venue is another beer garden that deals in slinging booze and hosting tunes.

The Junction is one brand at two locations, and tonight’s show is at the newer of the pair in Santa Rosa. This property’s only been open as “The Junction” for less than a month, but the building dates back to the ‘60s. It first opened as a continental restaurant called The Hilltopper before it changed hands the following decade. The second iteration, The Villa, lasted nearly 50 years as an Italian restaurant before the owner retired and closed up shop in ‘22. That left the joint vacant until earlier this year when the new bosses rolled into town.

Note that tonight’s show is actually scheduled to start at 6:45 local time to accommodate a two-setter (15 min earlier than what is listed on your ticket and The Junction website). It looks like they’re open for normal business before the show, so get there early, grab a slice of pizza, and enjoy the view.

[Setlist Thread] 2026-06-07 - Felton Music Hall, Felton, CA

After two nights in El Dorado County, the Dogs have made it out to Redwood Country to cap off their first weekend in California of the summer.

Tonight will be the band’s second trip out to Felton, which sits in between Santa Cruz and San Jose in northern California. The Dogs were previously here a year and a half ago when they toured through the Bay Area in early ‘25, and are back at the same venue for seconds. This place was previously known as Don Quixote's International Music Hall before an entrepreneur bought the facility and attempted to turn it into a steakhouse. That experiment didn’t pan out and the venue changed hands again in ‘19, returning to its roots in live music.

Doors open at 7 tonight. There’s no opener so the Dogs will go on promptly at 8 for two sets of shenanigans. They’ll get one day off tomorrow before making their Santa Rosa debut on Tuesday.

[Setlist Thread] 2026-06-06 - Delfino Farms, Camino, CA

The Dogs are back for round two in El Dorado County tonight and are set to play yet another picturesque western venue.

It’s been a little under a year since the band’s last trip to a farm for a show (Big B’s Delicious Orchard in Hotchkiss last August). There’s something special about listening to the Dogs while drinking a cider made from fruit of the trees surrounding the stage they’re playing!

Tonight’s host is an hour west of Lake Tahoe in Camino at Delfino Farms, and has been operated by the titular Delfino family for three generations. This vineyard, orchard, and fruit farm has been a fixture of this part of California since the ‘60s, and regularly hosts a wide selection of events that keeps the farm busy during the summer. This show is part of the venue’s annual “Folk on the Farm” series, which has historically invited grassroots country, bluegrass, and folk acts from around the U.S.

There is no opener tonight. The gates open to the farm at 6 local time with the Dogs set to start at 7:45. One set show, ends at 10. Note the entry gate will close promptly at 7:30 and late attendees will not be admitted, so get there on time!

[Setlist Thread] 2026-06-05 - The Hangar, South Lake Tahoe, CA

The Dogs closed out the Pacific Northwest leg of Summer Tour on Wednesday with a one-of-a-kind booking out in Hood River, and now it's California's turn for a destination gig. Tonight's show in South Lake Tahoe kicks off a run of eight in ten days in Cali, with the band’s tour largely centering itself around the northern half of the state. They’ll get two trips down south towards San Luis Obispo and Ventura, but most of the fun is going to go down in NoCal over the next week and a half.

This will be the Dogs' 57th show overall in the Golden State, but it’s still their first time in El Dorado County and the Lake Tahoe area by extension. Depending on how lenient your definition of “nearby” is, the Dogs have played relatively close to this neck of the woods before. They booked four shows across two trips out to Nevada City last year (2.5 hrs W), and have hit up the festival circuit in Quincy (High Sierra, 2.5 hrs NW) and June Lake (J.L. Jam, 2.5 hrs SE) in the past as well.

For those out west, this part of California needs no introduction. Even if you’re on the least coast, odds are that you’ve met at least one person who’s been out to Tahoe and won’t shut up about it. It’s known for beautiful mountain views, vibrant colors, and plenty of outdoor activities to keep you busy. At the center of it all is the largest alpine lake on the continent, and the second-deepest of all lakes in the U.S. (after Crater Lake in Oregon, which you could’ve visited if you took the long drive here down from Hood River).

Tonight’s host is The Hangar, a taproom, bottle shop, and beer garden in the center of town that’s been highly rated among locals and tourists. Doors open for attendees at 6, with Spencer Kilpatrick set to kick off the night shortly after. Dogs start at 7:45 for one meaty set (they’ll get two on Saturday night in nearby Camino). See you there!

PRE-SHOW TUNES

  • 2024-07-07 - Quincy, CA - The Dogs’ debut at the ‘nearby’ High Sierra Music Festival two summers ago. If you’re subbed up on Bandcamp, you can also check out the exclusive Dogs Play Dead Set from the next day.

  • 2025-01-14 - Nevada City, CA - This was the second of three nights the band played at the incredibly intimate Crazy Horse in Nevada City. Brian matched the venue vibe by busting out the acoustic for the entire run, making each show a unique listen. You can’t go wrong with any one of the three, but this one has my favorite setlist.

[Setlist Thread] 2026-06-03 - The Ruins, Hood River, OR

The Dogs wrap up their second trip through the Cascades of 2026 tonight, and we’ve got another beautiful venue on the docket for those who make the journey out to central Oregon.

It's the band's first-ever visit to Hood River (both the county and city proper) - the Dogs made it up here after playing a little under 3 hours to the south in Bend last night. The Ruins, which hosts today’s show, was previously the site of a Hood River fruit cannery over a century ago before it was eventually modernized into a music/event venue. The stage is surrounded by some of the original facade of the cannery, making the venue a truly one-of-a-kind place to space your face. It’s a lot more picturesque than playing underneath an overpass! I know more than a handful of folks in the Oregon Chapter of the Dog Pound that have been clamoring for the band to book this venue, and it’s cool to see that dream become a reality tonight.

Hood River’s outdoor curfew means this show gets underway early tonight with another 6:30 local start time, but the party doesn’t end there. For those that want to keep dancin’ after Dogs, you can take a 10 minute walk after the show towards The Underground Music Station to catch The Supernatural Beavers from 9:30 to midnight (you’ll get five bucks off the entry fee if you bring your Ruins wristband).

Feel free to use this as a space to chat before, during, after, and about the show. Following tonight, the band will get a precious one-day break to make the 11-hour journey south towards Lake Tahoe for the start of an eight-show swing up and down the Golden State.

  • 2026-01-24 - Portland, OR - The band's previous trip to Oregon during winter this year gave us a rare version of Big Man, and a really exciting Rabbit->Bag->Tillie->Bag to close out set 2.

[Setlist Thread] 2026-06-02 - Silver Moon Brewing, Bend, OR

After a three-year wait, the Dogs are finally back in Bend. The train keeps on rolling through the Pacific Northwest for the band, who arrive at this spot in central Oregon after seven hours on the road from their previous stop in Bellingham last night.

Portland typically gets the lion’s share of the love when the Dogs venture out to Beaver State, but the band managed to swing through Bend twice before in ‘23. Those shows were right across the street from tonight’s gig at the Domino Room (for their headlining debut) and later at the Midtown Ballroom (opening for Pigeons) - technically 2 different venues on 1 site.

On the other side of the block, Silver Moon Brewing has hosting duties tonight. This brewpub is halfway through its third decade of operation, but the building itself goes back all the way to the '50s, where it's “been everything from a furniture shop to a machine shop with a strip bar called 'the office'." How eclectic.

There are two Dogs sets planned tonight, no opener. Note that tonight’s show begins at 6:30 PM Pacific tonight (the venue website incorrectly lists 6:30 PM as door time). Feel free to use this space as a place to chat before, during, after, and about the show. Hood River will round out the Cascadia leg of this tour tomorrow night.

PRE-SHOW TUNES

  • 2023-06-09 - Bend, OR - The Dogs played their first show in Bend nearly three years ago to date. This one is memorable for having the earliest "Twister Jam" we know of on record.

  • 2023-11-14 - Bend, OR - A couple of months after debuting their sound in Bend, the Dogs were invited back to Bend as openers during their following cross-country fall tour with Pigeons. The Dogs would typically sit in with the headliners and any other special guests on a nightly basis during this tour. However, this night had a rare example of the reverse, as Ben Carrey joined in briefly for some shenanigans during Bennie in the Jets.

[Setlist Thread] 2026-06-01 - Wild Buffalo House of Music, Bellingham, WA

Summer Tour took off like a rocket Saturday night in Montana with one of the gnarliest YDHIFM’s I’ve ever caught in person, and the party continues this week as the band begins a three-night run through the PNW tonight in Bellingham, WA.

This is a notable booking for a few reasons. It’s the Dogs’ first time playing a venue in Washington outside of Seattle, as well as the farthest north the band has played in the U.S. (48.75° N), just edging out the 6/22/24 booking in Whitefish at the Great Northern (48.41° N). It’s still quite a bit off the all-time record set by 5/22/23 in Iceland (64.15° N), but it’s going to take an AK gig in Fairbanks or above (Juneau/Anchorage wouldn’t cut it) to beat that record on American soil.

Wild Buffalo is a dual-purpose bar and music venue, and can fit around 500. Some heady acts have played here in the last couple of years, including Molly Tuttle, Dopapod, Spafford, Mihali, and the Reverend Horton Heat. There’s no opener on the menu tonight, doors at 7, two sets of Dogs underway at 8. Bend and Hood River up next on Tuesday/Wednesday.

  • 2026-01-23 - Seattle, WA - Part two of the two-night stand at Nectar Lounge in Seattle this past January saw the Dogs briefly dip into Enter Sandman out of an epic J&C jam, among some other exciting moments throughout the entire show.

[Setlist Thread] 2026-05-30 - Pine Creek Lodge, Livingston, MT

And just like that, Dogs Tour is back. We’ve got a true coast-to-coast-and-burning-daylight monster of a Summer ahead of us. Over 30 Dogs shows between now and Labor Day have already been announced across four time zones, and we’ve seen a few hints indicating that there’s even more to come! With substantial tour legs already scheduled in the Northwest, California, the Northeast, the Rockies, and the midwest, a solid three quarters of the country will be within spitting distance of the band at some point this summer.

Up first on the docket is the northwestern quarter of the continental U.S., which will see the Dogs start in southern Montana before swinging out for three shows in rural Washington and Oregon. The band has made at least one annual trip out here to the Treasure State since their first visit on Pigeons Tour in Fall '23, with Bozeman or a town in the surrounding area typically playing host. Tonight marks the Dogs' 6th show in Big Sky Country overall, and their second consecutive year playing the beautiful Pine Creek Lodge in Livingston.

PCL is a sick spot for a show, and one that’s worth traveling to if it’s even slightly manageable. If you book your trip early enough, you can usually nab one of the converted shipping container crash pads on site or a tent spot a short walk from the venue. That means there’s this festival sorta vibe to every show, and you’re likely to make a few new friends under the Montana stars if you spend the night on the grounds. This space first caught my eye when John Mayer and Bob Weir performed a benefit concert here in 2022, and I knew I had to make the long drive up to Montana when the Dogs booked it last year (pictured).

Mother nature held off for last year’s show at this spot, but that’s not looking like the case for tonight. The forecast is calling for wind and rain all afternoon and evening, with over an inch expected throughout the day. The venue’s FAQ page says “Concerts go on rain or shine. This is Montana!” Dress and pack accordingly! A spare set of dry clothes and an umbrella could be the move.

As always, a link to the stream will be posted here if one is announced, but I won’t be commenting much as I’ll be in person for this one. Feel free to use this as a space to chat before, during, after, and about the show!

PRE-SHOW TUNES

  • 2024-06-21 - Bozeman, MT - This one was the Dogs’ headlining debut in Bozeman just over half an hour away from Livingston. It typically gets overshadowed by the following night’s barn burner in Whitefish, but don’t get it twisted: this one very much stands on its own. The massive Help/Slip is the centerpiece (plucked for release on DBv2), and there are some can’t miss moments in Look Johnny, Craig & Pat, and Appleseed.

  • 2024-06-22 - Whitefish, MT - Whitefish is closer to Spokane than it is to Livingston, but seeing as tonight is the band’s only MT show of the year, I gotta highlight it here while I have the chance. This is the crown jewel of the band’s Treasure State show archive, and one I’m still kicking myself for missing. It still gets played at a monthly basis at my house, especially set 2.

  • 2025-08-06 - Livingston, MT - Last year’s Pine Creek Lodge show. This was part of a brief detour the band took out of Colorado during the Rocky Mountain leg of last summer tour, and includes (what I believe to be) the only time the band split Charlie between sets without finishing the song. I relistened to this one a couple of days ago and was reminded just how heady the second set was. There’s a Nugs-exclusive VOD available as well.

Dogs In A Pile Tour Games - Season 10 Starts on Saturday!

^([mandatory) ^('guess) ^(that) ^(venue') ^(picture) ^(for) ^(algorithm])

Hope everyone had a relaxing Memorial Day Weekend! I'm just dropping in here briefly to let y'all know that Season 10 of our Tour Games competition will kick back off this Saturday for the start of the band's Summer Tour.

Shows

The Dogs have an action-packed summer schedule, with more and more shows are getting announced by the day! This season of Tour Games will be inclusive of all Dogs shows running through Labor Day, in the event that additional shows are announced that are not currently on the schedule.

Please also note that there is at least one date this summer (7/24) that has two shows scheduled. Since these shows are ticketed separately at different venues, they will be scored individually/separately.

PLAY HERE: https://luresocial.com/play

Format

For each show, you get six guesses/picks, which must be submitted before the posted deadline on Lure. I'll be paying close attention as shows are announced and will be updating the set start times as accurately as possible so that you can get your picks in as close to the start of the shows as possible. However, in the event I do not learn of the set times in advance, we will operate with the deadlines of 1 PM (for festival bookings) or 7 PM (for headlining shows) local time on the day of the show. Please bear that in mind as you plan out your picks! You can generally expect that the deadline listed on Lure will be set in stone by the night before the show in question.

Any song you correctly guess for a given show will earn you at least 3 points, but there are some modifiers that give you bonuses if you guess appropriately

  • Conviction: If this song is played anytime, you get 6 total points for that pick
  • Opener: If this song is played to open a set, you get 6 total points for that pick
  • Cover: Must be a cover, if this song is played anytime during the show, you get 4.5 total points for that pick
  • Closer: If this song is played to close a set, you get 6 points for that pick
  • Encore: If this song is played during the encore slot, you get 6 points that pick

Prizes

  • The player with the MOST POINTS at the end of the tour (Labor Day) will receive two tickets to a headlining Dogs In A Pile show of their choice (some exclusions apply/non-festival).
  • A random player who scores AT LEAST 20 CUMULATIVE POINTS during the course of this tour will win a mystery merch item from Dogs shipped to them. All players who score at least 20 points are eligible and I will use a random number generator to pick an eligible player at the end of tour.

Please note that we will contact the prize winners through the email that is associated with your Lure Account after Tour concludes.

Winner's Circle

  • Season 1: New Year’s Run 2024: TLESNICK
  • Season 2: Winter Tour 2025: JOHNNYCHOPPER23

[Setlist Thread] 2026-05-24 - Dark Star Jubilee, Thornville, OH

Howdy! We’re back briefly for one final one-off show before the Dogs’ Summer Tour officially opens in Livingston next weekend. Festival season is getting underway, and the band is primed for this afternoon’s booking at Legend Valley as part of Dark Star Orchestra’s weekend-long Dark Star Jubilee.

This show will mark the Dogs’ 4th time playing Legend Valley, and their 2nd time for Dark Star Jubilee specifically. The band and Dark Star Orchestra go back a lot farther than you might realize - one of the earliest Dogs shows we have on record from 2018 was an opening booking the band held at The Stone Pony, where they set the stage for DSO’s headlining act.

Today's schedule is jam-packed with over 12 hours of music scheduled between Noon and 12:30 AM. The New Gypsy Cowboys get the show underway first, followed by Magnolia Boulevard and Jeff Mattson & Friends. Dogs hit the stage at 4:30 for a 75-minute set, with Little Feat scheduled for 90 minutes afterwards. DSO closes the night with two sets. If you're going, you might want to bring a poncho! Feel free to use this space as a space to chat before, during, after, and about the show!

PRE-SHOW TUNES

  • 2023-05-26 - Thornville, OH - It's been about three years since the last time the Dogs played Dark Star Jubilee. The band's set for this show didn't have enough time for any enormous jams, but I remember the Dupree's/Bent Strange sequence from this date was the perfect vibe for the fest.

  • 2025-07-19 - Thornville, OH - While it's been three years since the band played Thornville for DSJ specifically, the boys were at this spot last year for Secret Dreams. I always thought it was kind of a missed opportunity that they didn't play Strangest Dreams at this gig, but the show is still worth your time!
