3 Tickets NYC 8/10 - covered section by itself in 100’s! Accessible for any disability such as autism, sensory issues,or anxiety. $600 for all.

You do not need to be in a wheelchair. These are simply accessible, meaning they are folding chairs. The nice thing about this is that, regardless of whether you are undercover, regardless of height, you will be able to see because you are a raised area, and you will be in a group by yourself because these seats are set to the side alone.

My doctor wants to give me a 3 series of gel all at once. Scared.

My insurance only covers Visco-3. I asked the doctor to try for approval for a one time shot and was told don’t worry, we use a 20G needle and just give all three mixed together. I have NEVER heard of this and I’m really uncomfortable with going back now. Anyone else had this experience?
Edit : anyone else *HAD THIS EXPERIENCE* is the question. Please stay on topic.

Anyone else use these shows as socialization?

I’m autistic and have always had trouble connecting to people. I also tend to isolate due to CPTSD. I have a huge curiosity about people though not really in a relationship sense, more like observing an ant farm. These shows are such a source of comfort for me. I’m not an obsessed stalker fan or anything like that, and I don’t presume that I actually know them, but it’s just nice to feel like I have people that I can participate in life with if that makes sense. Much of my ability to interact is one-sided and even just having familiar faces with shared experiences helps. I don’t need much interaction at all so putting on a show and just cleaning my house feels as good to me as what I imagine lunch with a friend would feel like (minus the anxiety that would bring)

Small things also really help like just watching their relationship dynamics and seeing that everyone argues or feels misunderstood, or seeing someone do something weird or embarrassing. Autism can be very lonely and isolating, just being to able to watch relationship dynamics play out on both sides and start to understand social behavior is really beneficial. I’ve had many times where I’ve seen someone do something and the other party will get angry and I know I’ve done these behaviors, but never understood why the other person would be upset. It’s also tremendously, comforting and reassuring to see that even Neurotypical people are awkward, anxious, or uncomfortable. It makes me feel much more empowered to just lean into it when I feel that way. I think those of us who are autistic often attribute every negative feeling or interaction to autism, not realizing that a lot of it is just the human experience.
