How would you approach multi-channel marketing for your b2b business?

Hi there

As a marketing professional with expertise in SEO, I work on strategies, optimization & performance monitoring focused on the organic channel for b2b business.

Now I’m looking to know about whoever manages multichannel marketing for your b2b business: how would you approach & structure your strategy on each channel to boost your digital presence?

I have some thoughts on my mind & represented them as questions as follows

  1. Which marketing channel would you prioritize? And why?

  2. When do you run paid campaigns on the respective channel?

  3. When you focus on any channel, it’ll give you some data. That can be considered feedback and helps you target another channel in an effective way. At this point, how would you structure your channels in a sequence to fulfill the cycle

In short, I want to know how you're planning & implementing your strategies for major marketing channels based on b2b business

Anyone who has experience with this, please feel free to drop your approach

How would you clearly define the ICP for this kind of business?

In recent days, I have been job hunting to find new job opportunities. In that, I If I find any new job updates. I'll review the business model & their offerings carefully. Then, if it matches my profile, I'll hit the submit button

During this process, I had the opportunity to review most businesses with broad IT services offerings.

Please, anyone, clarify my doubt about this point.

Businesses should be in a niche-specific environment, which not only helps the business to create a strong USP but also helps marketing professionals to clearly define the ICP.

Some of the business does not have adequate information on their website about their offering, or they will be stick into broad offering. In this case, It  put seo professional into a big challenge at it's first phase of implementation

Anyone who works in an agency environment might often encounter this kind of scenario with a domain. How would you handle it & what steps would you take to approach this process

How would you nurture your B2b audience to move from one funnel to another?

Most business owners tie every marketing activity directly to revenue.

If someone from marketing talks about their experimentation, they first ask

How much return can we get from this? And only very few can understand the collaborative approach required to provide a pipeline to the business.

Here, considering the business's primary goal. Many marketing professionals always prioritize the BOFU channel. In that audience who already had the purchase intent & you need to target them with the right keyword & content (speaking from an SEO perspective ) to reach them & can get the desired action from them smoothly. But the remaining funnel areas were often overlooked.

I want to know those who have been creating a full-funnel strategy to deliver results for your business. How would you nurture & what type of strategies help you to move from their funnel stage that can contribute to the sales pipeline?

I know that convincing someone who is in the upper funnel is much harder than someone who already has purchase intent. Looking forward to hearing about your thoughts, challenges, and approaches to this phase

How would you find the specific pain points & expectations of vertical/Industry focused audience

Understanding the customer intent is crucial for any marketers. Without that, you can't able to deliever qualified results to the business.

When It comes to industry/ vertical focused targeting. I often saw website had dedicated landing page / blog page for the industry oriented keywords.

And the targeting looks like,

(i'e crm for manufacturing, crm for finance and you also created a  blog title using this phrase)

I have a question at this point. Targeting those keywords is completely fine. In every industry there might be unique challenges & interest over their audience. But website often relies on only targeting the broader area couldn't helps to utilize the opportunity in efficient way.

You can say doing keyword reasearch, reviewing the issues from the customer support ,talking to sales person and keep monitoring some community focused sites helps to understand the intent. But those are common & basic assumptions of the audience.

How you can go deep to unconver some hidden opportunities?

Looking forward to know your approach to this process from your respective domains

Help me to find the realiable way to check the indexing status of URL

In GSC, some of our website URLs are affected by the "Crawled – Currently Not Indexed" issue due to a 404 error.

Once I fixed the issue and checked the status again, it remained the same. Now, the problem is not the status itself, and I'm also aware of Google's update stating that even after fixing the issue, it takes some time to reflect in the GSC dashboard.

When I validated the affected URL using URL Inspection, it showed "URL is live on Google." On the other hand, when I manually checked the status using the site: operator, it showed that the URL is not indexed.

Has anyone faced this kind of challenge with your domain? If yes, what should I consider more reliable—URL Inspection or the manual site: check?

Looking forward to your responses.
