Was anyone on the beach yesterday when wind storm came through and a woman got slammed with an umbrella? The lifeguards all swarmed around her. Anyone know if she's ok?

Not really worried about price, more so availability. I'm doing a solo beach trip tomorrow and I was gonna go to AC cause I'm familiar with it but my bf feels more comfortable with me doing wildwood instead since Im by myself. He said just in case I get stuck there for some reason he'd rather I be in Wildwood than AC alone after dark should that happen tho not planning on it lol
I know no matter what I can find parking in AC but how available is parking in wildwood if I show up around noon?

For those of you that comment on this sub that April was willing to help with Carly, and it was wild Catelynn didn't tell her about the adoption. How the only reason they chose adoption was because Tyler wanted it. This is what Carly would have grown up in if Cate let April help. I think people forget this part somehow.
April wanted to help? No she didn't. She hated her own child, what make you think it would have been any different for her grandchild?
April was offended because it made her have to be accountable for being a shit parent. Not because she actually cared.
Catelynn really didn't have many options here. I feel like this was Tyler and Kim's moment to step up and help, maybe Cate would have had more support and been able to keep Carly. Like honestly what even was Kim's deal? Why didn't she step up to help them? Cates done some questionable things but I think the big picture is missed a lot somehow.
Edit: also note there is a toddler RIGHT THERE that April is not only smoking right next to, but yelling at Cait and talking to her like trash in front of. The toddler would be Carly. April doesn't care one bit.
Spontaneously going down this weekend for my boyfriends birthday with a few friends. BF mentioned wanting to go to a club possibly Sat night. Is Oceans nightclub fun/worth it? Never been before. Or if you have any other night club suggestions send them my way! Not interested in doing Pool after Dark.

Having some trouble getting realistic expectations. My bf and I have a hotel booked for August (I know, its gonna be HOT) - He wants to go to Defcon during the day and Ill hang out and then we'll do stuff together at night.
He's on the fence about cancelling the trip partially because of the heat, but hes also worried about the cost of stuff in general. We know Vegas is expensive - but he says drinks are like $30 at most places and food is also astronomical. Is that really true? I feel like there must be reasonable options because casinos want you to spend your money there - Of course I'm sure theres very expensive places but is it possible to plan a 5 day trip and not spend $100+ per meal? Give me some realistic expectations here! I've looked some places up but not all places have their prices listed which scares me lol

I posted a few months ago asking how I could get new growth from the bottom of this monstera I got on fb marketplace. Everyone told me to chop and prop cause it wasn't possible to get new growth at the bottom, it will only put new growth from the top where the last leaf grew
Reluctantly, I started air propogating the top with moss to get roots going before I chop him. Went to water the plant the other day and noticed this. New growth .... At the BOTTOM. All on its own. I did not air prop down there or do anything to it .
I might still chop and prop even tho I don't want to. He has obviously outgrown his space. Air propagating is working well at the top but the roots do need to grow more.
But wanted to just give and update because I was told it wouldn't be possible but plants have a mind of their own sometimes clearly ! Hoping this leaf ends up healthy . It looks a little small and weird but I'm not sure. Either way, growth is happening !

Are these corms on my big alocasia? I recently got into Alocasias and was gifted this big guy who was struggling. He put out one new leaf and has a other new one and then these little things popping out the trunk. What do I do with them? Plant seems to be healing and doing well, the new leaf is healthy and already giving me another new one.
