Double canine with 5.5 month old kitty (this is my sleeping baby)

I just noticed Daisy has 2 canines on each side. When I called the vet today, the receptionist said we can wait until October to worry. What are your thoughts?

Does anyone have experience with teeth that look similar to baby Daisy that fell out on their own?

James Gunn reveals why ‘Survivor’ alum Rick Devens pulled out of ‘Superman’ sequel cameo

I just learned about this and wanted to share. To give up a cameo in Superman for Big Brother shows dedication to these games.

What to do if we go out of town?

We were thinking of taking an overnight trip for less than 24 hours. We'd most likely be gone from 3pm to noon the next day. We'd get a sitter, but I'm still unsure if having a sitter come in at night and the morning is enough for her. She's active early morning and night (duh), and just starting to get use to other people when we have people over (maybe once a week).

Question: should I just get someone to come in that night and the next morning, or should I board her? She'll be about 5 months old when we're planning our overnight trip.

Thanks for any help/advice. I need to do right by Daisy :)

Help needed for a new kitten

This pic is Minnie, who recently passed 5 days after my husband brought home a two month old kitten (tabby dsh). I’m still grieving terribly, but need to be a good cat momma to this new baby, who is freaked out at her own reflection.

Minnie was my first persian, who found me almost 10 years ago and she was perfect. She can never be replaced, but I keep looking at persian and exotic rescues online, hoping to see a cat who will help prevent single cat syndrome and offer up cuddles, like my girl did (I’m crying just thinking of this).

Here’s where I need help. The kitten is about 16 weeks old and was brought into the spca from animal control alone, so there was no sibling or mom to try and adopt. She’s not overly affectionate and runs away and hides most of the time, but she’s very cute and playful. When she tries to bite, she doesn’t exert any pressure. If I adopt a persian or exotic that is 1+ years old, who is good with other cats, but my kitten try’s to attack her own reflection, will this be a good move or will I need to try and rehome one? The thought of putting a cat through another environment change will shatter my heart even more.

Thanks for any help, suggestions, advice,… I want to do right by this little kitten, even as I find it hard to function after losing the love of my life.

Goodbye sweet baby girl

Minnie Mouse was sent to heaven today. The other day she started to cough. Today they did X-rays and a large mass was discovered, as well as a lot of her lung. While it was a kindness to let her go, it hurts so much.

Minnie came into my life 9 1/2 years ago, when she was 1-2 years old. She saved my life and was the most special cat I’ve ever had. She was smart and loving and let me hold her like a baby. She is such a part of my world, I’m lost now.

She lost her orange brother in January and my husband got her a kitten for Mother’s Day on Friday. Now I have a 2 month old DSH, that my husband said we can take back to the SPCA, something I just can’t do. I’m trying so hard to be there for the new kitty, who is named Daisy, because Minnie and Daisy were best friends.

I’m so lost

We have a new GCFI and new coffee machine. The coffee machine plug is very difficult to unplug. I’m always afraid I’m going to grab ahold of the metal prongs while trying to unplug it.

Does pressing the Test button give you the same safety as unplugging the machine?
