Factory Resetting an S21

So, I'm finally resetting my old phone for resale. I've backed up all my photos, Authenticator, etc.. have everything running on a new phone. Could someone walk me through the next steps in terms of the safest, most private way to make sure no one can access old data?

Am I supposed to be removing my Google account before factory resetting? Do I have to manually encrypt anything? And, of course, do I need to save a bunch of non-sensitive info like movies to take up the storage, then delete it again, or is that overkill?

Thanks!

At a loss, to take or not to take steroid?

Please, if anyone could provide some clarity I would appreciate it very much. Two days ago I blasted myself on accident with volume at 100% on my in-ear wired earbuds with super loud audio. For an idea of how loud it was, with the ear buds sitting on my desk, I can hear the same audio (when at 100%) from 30 feet blasting away just from the earbuds. It rattled me. Is this likely to have caused hearing loss, the audiogram I had today doesn't suggests so, but I feel like my hearing is lower than it was. I've attached two audiograms, one i took a year ago (second pic, shows auditory discrimination of speech at 96 vs two 100's) and one I took today (first pic.) I have existing pulsatile tinnitus but it didn't seem worse. Did have a weird bout of the high pitched tinnitus where everything goes deaf except that for a few seconds, but it went away. Had slight pain in one ear off and on for a day after.

I have a prescription for Prednisone two 20mg pills a day for six days, is this possibly going to make pre-existing hearing issues like tinnitus worse, would it be recommended in a case with so little obvious loss? I'm so afraid to do more damage w the steroid than not, I've read a few reddit posts where people have gotten tinnitus just after taking a similar steroid methylprednisolone.

Wind Direcrion Past 24 Hrs?

Looking for a way to view wind direction data/map for the past 24 hours? I've found several great resources that show HRRR data in the NOW, but I'm looking for it 24 hours ago.. please and thank you 😊

Mattress Protector Likely to Contain Fiberglass or Not?

Hello, I had a question about Allerease zipper mattress protectors. Are these products likely to have fiberglass embedded in the thermoplastic polyurethane? The materials listed are simply: "Top Fabric (100% polyester with thermoplastic polyurethane.) Content: 100% polyester.") Bottom and side fabric: 100% polyester with polyethylene." I am trying to avoid it like the plague and have reached out to the manufacturer, but no response. There's also an old egg crate mattress topper we have- is this likely ro container fiberglass in it? Thanks. ♡

Post-Exposure Treatment advice please?

Over the weekend, I visited a family member (FM) for a day. Unfortunately, the FM has had odd, itchy bump and rashes (now on both legs, both arms, and across back) that have been happening to her for most the past year and a half, and it was pretty much confirmed to be scabies through a punch biopsy. "Diagnosis: CONSISTENT WITH ARTHROPOD BITE REACTION. HISTOLOGIC CHANGES SUCH AS THESE MAY BE SEEN IN INSECT BITES OR SCABIES.." etc etc.

Both my Primary Care Physician and Dermatologist recommended I wait to do Permethrin 5% treatment until I actually show symptoms, which can be up to 8 weeks from now, and I may be contagious while asymptomatic from what I understand (what a nightmare.) My coworkers have small infants. I can't risk bringing this to them in good conscious. Even though the only close contact I had with FM was a greeting hug and sitting maybe 4 feet away on a separate chair for a couple hours, I feel I should do the treatment post-exposure anyway. Should everyone else in this current household also do the treatment despite them not directly seeing FM like I have, but being around me? Any experience is much appreciated, my doctors have not provided much guidance unfortunately and I'm worried both about the toxicity of the treatment and chances of reinfestation if I do have them. Thank you ♡

How long is a frozen urine sample good for?

My vet has a frozen urine sample they got on a urinalysis from June 29th, 30 days ago. Is it still considered accurate to test for histoplasmosis?

Add. Info on the patient, not needed for Q: My male (14 YO, 9 lb) black shorthair cat had been vomitting more thanbusual for months. His abdominal ultrasound showed thickening of the intestinal lining, vet believes it to be small-cell lymphoma, IBD, or histoplasmosis. We got him started on 0.25 ml Prednisolone (20 mg/ml) daily, and last week I transitioned his food from the Hill's Science CD (urinary care) to the Royal Canin Novel Protein diet. Just this Monday he's been having serious difficulty having BMs, sometimes they're formed, but they're often very mushy. He keeps going from one litter box to the other, multiple times (up to 8 times one morning) straining to poo, but only a drop or two comes out. This afternoon, I noticed fresh blood in one drop, his vet was called, we're going through this right now. The vet suggested Proviable which I will be using tonight. But they also recommended a histoplasmosis test with the urine sample. Are the cultures still viable to get a highly accurate test result? Thank you.

Botulism Risk?

I had the misfortune of realizing I'd eaten from a dirty bowl a few hours ago. The bowl was unwashed from my meal yesterday at noon, stroganoff- turkey sausage, cream of mushroom soup can, noodles, maybe some garlic. I'd wiped it with a paper towel and left the towel pressed against the sauces and leftover bits in the bowl, then a day later I took it out without noticing, put more of the same food (stored in the fridge), microwaved, and happily ate it. Didn't notice anything until I'd finished, there was a bit of crust on the sides of the bowl from yesterday. Oof. I feel fine right now.

Is this specifically a risk for botulism or another food-borne illness? I think it's more of a risk for botulism if it's in an anaerobic environment, but I've heard of potstoes sitting in foil is considered that. Would the paper towel pressed against the old food create this environment, even when a paper towel is pourous? Thanks for any advice. 😔
