Niece is in dire need of help. OCD, PTSD and Autism.

Hey guys, just thought I would post on here as my niece is running out of options and I'm not sure how to help.

My niece (20) has severe OCD, PTSD, and austism. She struggles to leave the house period and wont do so on her own. She cannot open the door herself if she is home alone, struggles heavily with triggers, intrusive thoughts, hygiene based OCD, suicidal ideation and depressive episodes.

This OCD is so severe she cannot leave the house and has an incredibly severe aversion to cameras and being recorded (for reasons I don't want to share as they're quite personal) this means that her local GP and mental health services are unable to help her adequately. She cannot go to appointments in person due to crippling fear ocd and physical health complications (severe IBS and endometriosis), struggles heavily to speak to them over the phone and relies on me or her aunt speaking on her behalf, and when seen and assessed in person they insist she must come in for appointments, but she's unable. They keep insisting on possibly sectioning her, but she would not survive or thrive in sectioning. Without her mother for support she would not fare well.

I am at a loss at what to suggest for her, the GP and mental health services say she's too complex, but she's declining rapidly and she needs help. She has been on numerous anti-depressants that haven't worked well or just made her worse even after taking them for long periods. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks for reading.

Why are some young lesbians like this

This is what makes some of you guys approaching "older women" so weird.

Edit: for everyone saying she's just making a joke, duh. that doesn't make the joke funny or any less misogynistic. Why are we allowing young people to perpetuate this bullshit.

Any advice on temporary re-homing?

I've currently been moved somewhere that doesn't allow animals due to having to flee previous circumstances. I have my two mogs with a friend at the moment but they've recently let me know they're having health issues and are struggling to keep them and themselves in good care. I'm currently trying my best to get out of my new housing situation and into somewhere pet friendly. I'm wondering if anyone has any advice on where to put my babies until I can have them back? I've looked into some catteries but it adds up to £700 for a month of them being away so I'm trying to keep that as a last resort. I'm from the Essex area. Any advice would be appreciated.

Diane & PC, and enabling BJ.

I find it pretty interesting that Diane is often given shit for enabling Bojacks behaviors, but PC seems to get a pass. PC knew BJ's history of shitty behaviors and had decades of knowledge on Diane about them. Yet she was always there to bat for him and clean up his mess, she leapt at the chance to cover up BJ nearly strangling his female co-star to death for the sake of her career, and even til the very end she didn't seem to snap out of it until BJ mentions that Sarah-Lynn was the only woman he ever loved in the BB interview. I know some people say it's because it was partially her doing her job, but it definitely wasn't the case everytime. I'm not saying she's a bad character or unsympathetic, but she was BJs biggest enabler and arguably her continuing to work with him to better her own career ended up contributing to the harm he was allowed to cause. Yeah she would go off on him and tell him outright what his issued were, but it didn't stop her from working with him and picking up his mess for a good few decades.

Diane drives him to rehab, genuinely fuedes with him about his behavior and stands on taking space away from him because of his actions. She's not afraid to move away from him or make remarks at his expense, even when they are on good terms. I think where she really catches herself is at the premier party where she has a meta monologue about her writing being helped to excuse toxic people and behavior. Except it's also aimed at BJ. She can be self righteous and hypocritical, but I don't think she enabled BJ in the same excess as others did and I think PC is a good example of that. If anything I'm suprised they didn't bond more over something like this or it wasn't really used as a way to expand these two characters relationships to eachother. Unless I'm forgetting of course, it's been a while since a rewatch.

Erin Iveson (Lesbian TT drama)

Idk if anyone else is really keeping up with it. But godamn, if you cheat on your partner and they're having full blown nervous breakdowns and you continue to lie, YOU need to break up with them. You already owned up to the cheating/got caught so just bite the bullet already and put the woman out of her misery. I couldn't imagine putting someone I cared about, regardless of relationship status through that much continuous emotional agony. In the age of digital communication too, send a text if you're that scared. You've just completely uprooted someone's trust and you're going to actively continue to make it worse? I've seen comments saying they're on A's side after how Erin reacted, but it's clear she's having a nervous breakdown at that point. Honestly contacting your works HR is the least unhinged behavior I've heard to getting cheated on this way. It's honestly disgusting how normalised this kind of cowardly behavior has become.

I like how Jax' development ended

I kinda like the idea of jax becoming a cautionary tale of what happens when you let dysphoria and self hatred eat you alive. I've met so many of him IRL in my own circles. I think people need to hear it. I need more characters who eat themselves alive and actually have to suffer the consequences of not choosing to better.

WHY did I have to watch a pov of Jax bullying Ribbit into abstraction

I was genuinely horrified lmao, I understand Goose said he was written to be irredeemable, but I was pretty neutral about Jax to this point and watching what he did to Ribbit was crazy AND unnecessary, genuinely made me just straight up hate the guy. He had so many opportunities to just stop, or even let up. Fuck it, I can even understand the implication of him accidentally killing his mother after she was verbally abusing him or whatever for coming out. But watching him push someone to the brink (which, did Ribbit not have anyone else in the circus to lean on...? How did the entire group just not turn on him at any point?) made me cheer when he abstracted.

Confused as to why people think Clark went insane out of nowhere

I thought it was made quite obvious in the build up towards the climax. He pushes back against therapy that is implied he's been in for a while, and despite wanting to change is a self admitted bad person who hurts those around him, he's an unreliable narrator when it comes to his relationship with his ex wife who he can't being himself to not verbally abuse even in roleplay, mentions to Mary after exploring the backrooms that he hasn't slept and that he's going through alcohol withdrawal, he has no friends or family to bring him down to earth or to even vent to, is sleeping in his furniture store with only the television for company and is up to his eyeballs in debt. The only thing he has to cling to is this sprawling landscape filled with entities and yellow wallpaper.

By the time he drags his employees into the rooms with him (with no regard to their safety, he knows *something* is lurking in the backrooms and that it's not friendly from it destroying the cardboard cutout) he's been in there long enough to have mapped out an area. He's gotten comfortable already, hes so cheery about mentioning the pool area to Kat despite her being scared. He has barely any urgency to one of his employees being hurt by an entity he knew was in there already.

By the third act, when he's having the inverted therapist conversation with Mary, he's determined to re-live his victim complex over and over. He's gotten comfortable enough with the still-lives that he's taken them to an area where he can play house with some semblance of control. I think the last scene where he has Kat's head in a freezer, his therapist tied up, and scalping his ex wife's still-life so casually is a nod to him abusing his real life ex wife and possible hidden capacity for violence.

The conversation he has with Mary felt like this was always where Clark was headed, he needed permission to give up on his life and she gave him what he wanted. I thought his decent into madness was pretty obvious to me anyway.

Just for clarification, I'm not making any judgments about her family until I know the full story. Which I'm guessing will come out in due time after the case has reached conclusion. We absolutely don't have the full picture yet and these are just things I can't make sense of personally. And of course this is all speculation and alleged.

-What was Celeste running from at home that was so bad? I understand she was targeted via discord, and kids from happy homes can still be groomed. But it feels obvious she needed to latch onto someone for guidance and love, things she should be receiving at home. But she had a history of running away prior to David knowing her, I can't help but wonder what for.

-I understand the police were aware (and did not do enough to keep her safe) but I can't imagine not kicking off more that my daughter hasn't been seen for months. Even IF she has a history of leaving for long periods and coming back.

-Her parents took her phone, but did they not go THROUGH it? Identify the person who was taking their daughter for long periods? Her father allegedly says he never met David or even knew about him. How is that possible when he's taking your daughter all over the country?

-From what I've read, her brother did raise the alarm, and they did report her missing. But where was the curiosity to find out where she was going? Her siblings could have known about the relationship and out of love for her might've kept David a secret?

-Her parents allegedly weren't protecting her from another man/boy having sexual relationships with her (from alleged text messages) that definitely did not seem consenting.

-David's possessive attitude despite obviously not being exclusive with Celeste. The fact he was reposting TT's with how he was disgusted she had been with "other guys" despite him being a grown adult and knowing she was just a little kid. Fills me with complete disgust.

  • Allegedly according to what I've read from the court docs that were relased, she arrived at his house at 10:10pm, and he text her asking if she arrived at 10:24pm Implying she literally was seemingly killed upon arrival? But didn't have the foresight to get supplies before this? How spur of the moment was all this? Was he completely out of his mind? If he allegedly gave her drugs it would've had to have been in those twenty minutes. Unless he had a habit of keeping her phone on him while she was there? Not uncommon for controlling partners.

-He had an (alleged) entire decoy Celeste, it seems like he had genuinely thought out a plan to claim plausable deniability if she ever came out about the relationship. Which makes how messy this case is even more confusing.
