anyone feels like their KP worsened over the years?

^ title. my aunt who had KP in her teenage years said it gets better as i get older but i'm afraid my KP will spread to my forearms. 🥲

first photo is from 2023, second one was taken last april. (i know the photos are taken in different lightings but the difference is visible in person)

it seems more visible & red now. i think it may be because: (1) i lost weight so i feel like the KP looks more congested and less spread out, (2) my skin became lighter, (3) product use 🥲 i really believe tretinoin irritated mine so bad it never came back to before. now im slowly trying to heal it.

did your KP got better with age? im still young & so hopeless. 💔

hi! suggest 40% urea for this type of KP

info:
- KP has been around for more than 5 years
- I have it on my legs too but it's not bumpy. Only my arms have visible/bumpy KP.
- It worsened over a year ago when I followed a routine from my first dermatologist that involved tretinoin. It dried and itched so bad. Now, it's more calm and better but I need to make it look better.

I need a trusted brand for urea 40% that really worked for u! there's a lot out there and i need to get my money's worth. thanks!

what really works best for dark areas on body?

Skin Type: Dry
Age/Gender: 18/F
Current Skincare Routine: current body soap is kojic + tranexamic acid from belo, i switch lotions between Amlactin 12% Daily and Amlactin 15% Intensive Healing (i need it for my KP)
Main Concern: Hyperpigmentation/Skin Discoloration
Lifestyle Factors: I eat whatever I want. But not too much. My meals are balanced. Not into sugary foods, but yes to sugary drinks. BMI is normal.
Budget: less than 3k
Additional Info: I have yet to check if i am insulin resistant.

Hello! I'm on a mission to take care of my skin while on summer break. One of my major problems include hyperpigmentation/discoloration especially on these areas: elbows, inner thighs, groin, a bit on the bum.

For context: I was a bit overweight for only a few years during my early teenage years. I have lost a lot of weight now. I believe the main cause for this problem is friction since the darkness in my neck before have disappeared when I lost weight. However, my thighs remained a bit thick, so the discoloration is still there. For my elbows, it might also be because of contact with hard surfaces. For my groin, I am certain that aside from friction, irritation from pads and tight underwear might be possible causes. For the bum, it's not dark naman, it just looks like there's a shadow but i want to even it out.

I also had discolored underarms & knees before but it has gradually lightened over the past months. So now, I want to focus on the other areas.

Here are my top picks, please share your thoughts and suggest more products/ingredients:

- 20% Urea Cream (no brand chosen yet)
- Retinol Serum or Niacinamide Serum (leaning into Anua or The Ordinary)
- AHA booty cream (Luxe Organix for my bum)
- Need suggestions for whitening body soaps that are not drying like Alada.
- Need suggestions for whitening lotions too to even out my knees.
- Also if possible, a separate routine/recommendation for the groin since it's the most sensitive out of all the parts i listed.

Please help a girl out. Thank you! 🙏🏻

a non-writer who wants to improve writing skills

hi! title ^ means in academic setting. I don't know how to write good essays. I sometimes still even get confused with the structure (both in my native language & in english).

I'll be a freshman in college in a few months, and I'm afraid i'd fall behind of all my classmates in terms of writing (i'll be enrolling in a state university filled with competent individuals). I admit this is a skill issue but i also went to the same school for a decade where they never tried to hone our writing skills.

Here are a few things I need help with:

- Structure and how to make a good point in general (like in argumentative essays)
- How to make it interesting
- Also how do I add information if I don't know much of the topic? If we were to write an essay on the spot which I have little to no knowledge about? What should I write?
- How to be firm on your stand. I have noticed I tend to be neutral when I am afraid to choose a stand. How do I make a good essay that presents both sides while keeping my stand firm?
- Any basis or books you recommend for me to get better overall?

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much. 🙏🏻

ITAPPH of the sunset

This was taken earlier this year. Still my favorite photo of the sky! 🥹 There really is a visible line in person that separates the pink & blue hues, u can even see its reflection on the water.

Me & my friend said "parang gender reveal" 🤣

(search for my comment for the video i took of this scenery)

ITAPPH of a charcoal latte

I ordered this charcoal latte from Lukafé out of curiosity, and it was not what I expected. Sobrang sarap pala ng charcoal latte, akala ko lasang literal na uling/sunog lol.

Any other uncommon drink suggestions? I want to try more. 🥤

(If you see this, it's your sign to try out new drink flavors!)
