How it's meant to be heard and listened to.

I got this CD player from a store recently (NOS) and miss how good it sounds with a proper pair of WIRED headphones.

Joggers in the Bike Lane: go endanger yourself elsewhere.

This morning a jogger decided to run eastward on the SE corner of Queen's Quay and Yonge, do a full speed 180° run into the bike lane in front of my moving bike, make me stop short so I don't crash into him, then have the gall to "eat a dick" after I point to the bike symbol on the road and say "bike lane".

Is the Waterfront Trail shared? Yes, but not when you get a sidewalk and I get a narrow two foot wide lane in the road.

Do I get to turn in front of pedestrians sharply and make them jump out of the way? Don't think so.

You want to share the road then don't be a dick and endanger yourself and others. Bad enough bike lanes are on the endangered list now I don't need to hurt myself and your selfish ass too. I gotta get to the office instead of WFH because Dougie said so.

Rant Over.

Biidaasige Park Self Cleaning Bathrooms

This is what happens when our city invests in infrastructure.

Bought this for $35 cash (🇨🇦). Would you have too?

Small cell phone / electronics store near me sells a bunch of new old stock (apparently called NOS?) and I decided to get one for my CD collection.

Sounds amazing on my old Sennheiser headphones.

Am I alone in thinking this was a good idea. Sit back and listen to albums, offline, uncompressed? Like when we were young?

Safety Warning: Don Roadway and Lake Shore East is incomplete and not well graded

Traveling southbound in the new east side bike lanes at Don and LSE I thought I'd be able to ride the east side to Commissioners. Oh boy, was I wrong.

That's not a bike lane, I believe the west side of Don Roadway is the official bike lane. So when I thought I'd ride straight through, the curb which you can see at the bottom of the photo, is curved but my bike wiped out as of it hit a hard curb.

I flew over, landed on my face, and now have two stitches in my chin, cut inside my lip, bruised wrist and ribs (x-rays came out clean, thankfully), and a mighty bruised ego.

I'm grateful to the city for all the new lanes. The landscaping looks great so far, and other than forcing us to slow down near intersections (I know, I know) it's a huge improvement for us East enders to get downtown without going on Commissioners.

Heed my warning: slow down, follow the routes, neve assume.

Also, I put in a 311 ticket because these lanes need bollards or division or something.

Replacing Asus ZenWiFi XT8 as primary with RT-BE92U as new primary with ISP VLAN setting. Backup and Upload Setting?

I've got an Asus ZenWiFi XT8 primary router with mesh nodes and VLAN configured for my ISP's Fibre ONT. It's running an older Merlin and showing it's age.

Bought a new RT-BE92U that I want to use as the primary, then factory reset the XT8 as a node.

Will doing the Asus "back up/upload the configuration files" from the XT8 to BE92U make it seemless?

Should I do the upload first then flash the BE92U to Merlin?

My parody of Fiddler on the Roof with the same title as the original has gone unnoticed, I see.
