It goes well with so many different armours and looks genuinely badass
I was recently watching an episode of 24 hours in Police custody, wherein Police are investigating a murder of an old lady in her home. The episode never explicitly mentions her address, but does talk about the village she lived in, Fairfield, in Bedfordshire, UK.
Out of curiosity, I found the sentencing remarks from the case, which mentions that Annette owned and lived in the old Asylum. A bit of search around, and I find the above. Cross referencing various sections of B roll with what can be seen on the satellite view confirms it is one and the same. I have posted a couple above but there are more.
A rather spooky find.
Fair warning - The details of this case are unsettling to say the least, it's a great watch and fantastic if you like true crime, but it does look into a particularly gruesome murder so it may not be for everyone.

Image 3 - B roll from inside the house, in which the roof of a Police car can be seen parked outside - I am confident this is the Police car parked on the path in the top left of image 1.

A classic British police car with a classic British Police car livery. The Jam Sandwich does unfortunately have as good a chance at returning to the frontlines as Rover does. It's a good job we have Battenberg instead - equally iconic, and equally delicious.
He is up my family tree. He is from Leicester, England, and born 1914 so this is presumed to have been taken either in the lead up to or during WW2. I recognise the Corporal stripes, but the other insignia eludes me. Can anyone help?
After what has been a pretty shitty week for moral, I am finally feeling cheerful.
