We had our Onam celebrations at college yesterday and it was my last Onam there, so obviously I was excited to dress up and take a ton of pics.

Every single pic of me turned out HORRIBLE. Not to toot my own horn, but my pics usually come out pretty good, but this time my hair was flying everywhere, my saree was sitting weird, just one disaster after another.

But the worst part was how my friends were being when taking pics for me. When I was taking their pics, I was constantly giving them instructions because I genuinely want them to look good. And they were doing the exact same thing yesterday to each other too.

But when it was my turn, nobody said anything. They could literally see me through the camera looking a mess and just kept taking pictures. It made me feel bad bc I was putting in so much effort for their pictures and didn’t feel like that was being reciprocated.

And I might be overthinking this, but I am fairly popular in college while these girls aren't really, and part of me wonders if that had something to do with it. I don't want to accuse them of intentionally doing it, but seeing them help each other while saying nothing when I was in front of the camera genuinely made me feel like maybe it wasn't completely accidental.

I ended up hating how I looked, sulking the whole day and barely taking any other pictures. Idk if im being overdramatic but i was crying sm and still sad over the whole thing

For reference, the Sebamed clear gel made my skin feel tight (i applied on damp skin) and the Etude Soonjung emulsion left an oily layer typa film on my face, didnt sink in at all (damp skin application again). I live in a humid city with scorching sun so pls recommend me some chipku free moisturizers that womt make my wallet cry 🥹 (huge bonus if it has any glow giving actives !! )

Please don't tell me "tan is normal," "live a little," or "just wear sunscreen." I already use UV Doux on my face and Sunscoop on my body every day. I searched the sub too, but almost every post just says stay indoors, cover up, and reapply sunscreen. I know that helps prevent more tanning, but how do I get rid of the tan I already have?

Meanwhile the girls in my college are out in the sun all day with barely any physical protection and somehow they're GLOWING 🫠

Please drop any affordable products, routines, or methods that actually helped you get rid of stubborn tan and get back to your original skin tone plsplspls🙏🏻

Went to Eatmosphere for my friend’s birthday and bro what even was that experience 💀

We ordered pasta and jalapeño poppers and the second we cut into the poppers there was literally HAIR in it 😭 We called the server, he took it to the manager(?), and then they tried to gaslight us the black strand was “cheese strings” for a solid minute wtfff. Eventually they offered to remake it but the food already tasted so fkng bland so we just asked them to remove it from the bill.

After that the staff kept throwing side eyes at us the ENTIRE time like we were criminals 💀 The vibe got so weird and hostile for no reason. We paid and left, then thought okay at least the outside looks cute let’s take pics. Tell me why the staff KEPT staring at us through the windows and walking around throwing more side eyes broo 🫩 it was super uncomfortable

Anyway yeah never going back. Hair in the food + attitude combo is insane work and terrible handling of the situation instead of just apologising normally. Eatmosphere if ur lurking here, just fix the hygiene and overall customer experience bc what even was that.
