Amount decrease

They have done this to me three years in a row. Every year, my account summary page will say a certain amount. I will sign my documents, and that amount will stay consistent for 5-6 months. Then, every single year in the middle of the school year, suddenly 4-6k is gone and they never tell me why. They always gaslight me and say the amount hasn’t changed, so this year I’ve been taking a screenshot of the summary every week, and I’m interested to see how they play it off tomorrow when I call them.

Do they do this to anyone else?? It is highly discouraging because I’ll get excited, thinking I can use the excess amount to focus on school more and work a little less, but they pull it out from under me every single time with no explanation of why. I even have an extra class this semester, and they still hit me with a random 4.5k decrease this time.

A moment of silence…

For me. I got this game about two months ago for my 4yo. I was super excited because I remembered playing it as a kid, and I’m glad to see she likes it too. So, we share the account. It’s really cute watching her get excited and jump, yell, and cheer every time she gets a new monster. I've been surprised and impressed by her ability to recall all of the monster’s names and their breeding times.

Anyways, I haven't played in probably a decade until recently, and I never understood what the Clubbux tickets were for until tonight!! We literally had over 300 last time but I couldn’t figure out what to do with them, so they expired 😐 I JUST figured out how to use them, and I got her a Rare Shellbeat. I wonder what monster we missed out on last time…

So yeah, a moment of silence for my 300 tickets that went nowhere lol. At least I know now. I can't wait to show her when she gets home from visiting her dad! She's gonna love spinning the Clubbux mixer and her new Shellbeat!!

What is up with the grokvantage comments flooding the Clancy trial live streams??

What is up with all the grokvantage comments on the Clancy trial livestreams?? I was just watching the Clancy trial, and all of a sudden everyone starts commenting about grokvantage. What tf is grokvantage and why is it relevant to the case? Is it just a ton of bots sent by the company to get attention since they know a lot of people are watching?? If so, that's pretty freaking tasteless of xAI to do considering the circumstances of the case…

It won't let me post the screenshots, but here's a link to the Fox News livestream on YouTube. Just click the comments and you'll see what I mean. It's not just one, it's also on other live streams, like the one Court TV is doing.

Also, I'm not sure if it's actually xAI. I didn't google it because I didn't want to give them the extra traffic they're clearly trying to get. Can anyone explain?

How the blood test result company speaks to people!

I don't understand why they have that tone?? The bill is only $71.54 and it has been NINE days since the appointment. That's “severely delinquent,” apparently. I know I have to pay it—I will—but gosh I don't even want to when they speak to me like that. This company, Labcorp, really needs to learn how to talk to people!

New texts

The defense is busy framing a narrative of Celeste being abusive, which makes me think they seem to be going in one of two directions after the new texts:

A) Celeste killed herself, then David panicked and hid her.

B) David killed her in self defense, panicked, and hid her.

Both of these would lead to a lesser sentence, probably. I’m not sure which one they’re going to aim for, but I hope the jury doesn’t fall for it. Reading her new text messages, it’s clear that she was very aggressive and possessive, but it just reminds me of how I acted when I was groomed by a 24yo man at age 15. If she were older, she would indeed look like the abuser, but she was not. She was a kid who had her mind played with so much that she resorted to threats and aggression—whatever it took—to keep the relationship going.

I feel like a lot of people who were groomed at a young age can understand the intense anger she felt and where she was coming from with her texts. They’re fucked up, they’re mean, they’re terrible—but they make sense. When you’re being groomed like that, you kinda associate your self worth with the status of the relationship, and at that age you probably have it made up in your mind that this is your life partner and you have to do whatever to keep them. The end of the relationship feels like your life is ending because of how much they brainwashed you.

I remember writing equally as fucked up messages to the man that was grooming me when I found out he was also with another girl my age. But guess where I learned that from? The groomer. He would message me and call me saying aggressive things if he thought I was with anyone else. It took me years, like well into my adulthood, to erase the anger and bad behavior patterns I learned from the groomer.

But yeah…those texts didn’t work at making me vilify her. They just made me feel for her even more. Poor girl. Such adult thoughts going through such a young mind.

Price Difference

When I started playing in December, this cost me $12.99. They have literally raised it by $2 almost every time I’ve seen it, and now it is up almost 100% to $22.99.

I kept getting it because it still seemed like a good deal, but now I wonder if they keep raising it *because* I keep getting it. I paid for the last one, which was $20.99. I won’t be getting it anymore though. Enough is enough.

What do we think is the cause? Player spending habits or level? Or both?

My best (educated) assumption of how the new timer actually works

Okay, I think I’m starting to understand the circus that’s going here, so i wanted to break it down for you all. You’re not as mad as you should be. You should all start mass exiting the projects who use the new timer.

It sounds like they implemented the same type of timer Mucor (I know it’s not spelled like that) uses, but with edits and the addition of disabling contributor access. It’s a great timer, but can be abused, which is what is happening here.

The timer in question has “active” and “inactive” time on the backend that makes up for the total time. It seems like you all were getting paid by total time (as you should), but HAI has changed it to only pay contributors for the time marked “active.”

Time is “active” when scrolling, typing, and clicking within the specific task tab. Time is “inactive” when none of the previous actions are happening; i.e., when reading the task without moving the mouse or pressing keys, researching in another tab, etc. It sounds like they have changed the rules to only pay for active time, which explains the huge pay discrepancies.

The percentage of inactive time is usually way more than active time on these timers due to the amount of reading, visual analyzing, thinking, and research required for some tasks. Murcor and Craplier have the same timer, and they pay for both active and inactive time because they understand the importance of time that looks inactive but is not (not sponsoring them—I don’t like them either).

This behavior is unacceptable because time that seems “inactive” is still important to the quality and completion of tasks. They keep throwing “time thieves” around, but it sounds like they’re the real time thief. If you respect yourself, pack it up and go somewhere else. I know most people who work at these places are desperate for income, but that’s exactly what they’re hoping for. They’re hoping you will be desperate enough to be taken advantage of.

Shortly after Murcor started expanding and taking on Feta as a client (apparently the same issue client here), they tried this stunt on one project. They caved two days later and changed the rules back because of how irate the contributors were. Over 90% of us stopped contributing almost completely for the whole weekend, and that got our point across. Wink wink.

We need a “Kick from the Team” feature

If someone is going to be useless and not roll in the race, I’d rather kick them out and just have 3 people than to let them stay and receive the rewards they did not earn. There should be a feature where, if all the other team members agree, they can kick someone out.

One lady has been given three rockets and 5 springs. Still won’t roll. I sent her a friend request, and she accepted it 4mins later. Still won’t roll. Same stuff, different race. I wish I could just kick her off the team. She has the 2nd highest net worth after me, and SHE asked to join. What a weirdo.

Rant over.
