Web Version going down :(

I have pretty much exclusively played on the web version, mainly because you can have zero ads and don't have to watch an ad to get the strength meter or activate a boost if you have an ad blocker extension (i.e UBlock) + it's just more convenient for me as I'm always on my PC - so Im sad to see this go. Haven't seen many people talking about this.

I have the mobile app but it still sucks.

Efficient Fish finding Method?

The last fish I have to catch (in winter) is the blobfish. I've been going out at "Late" and doing a big line with the fish book in the Southern Ocean (All the way south West --> All the way South East).

I use a jetski. my strat is to open thefish book, look around for ??? then go to the furthest fish location the book showed with my jetski and repeat the steps.

I am not having any luck finding it. Is there a more effficient strat to do than this? I thought about the jetski, but I feel lke that would take longer ?

I've been playing the whole game with "dangerous wish" cause I like the challenge / extra drops, but have now switched to "bountiful Wish"

I cannot do the 2 friend method of 1 person flying, 1 person fish book out.

Edit: after about a 5 days of IRL searching, I FOUND IT.

I didn't search "LATE" but rather "Night" around 7PM !

Dangerous wish - Double drops

SOLVED !

So I've been playing on "hard mode" for about 5-6 in game days now and LOVE IT, I love the challenge and the incentive of double drops is great + Ted selly more often.

However, I just fought an alpha jackaroo, and he dropped 7 prime meat and only 1 antler - is the double drops not guaranteed ?

Thanks in advance !

Edit:

I have also confirmed that the wish is in effect

Friendship Decay.... 2026 (v 1.0+)

Hello ! I have seen multiple answers to this question, but unfortunately from years ago so I am unsure what the true answer is.

  • I know that friendship decays if you don't fulfil an accepted quest
  • If you get an NPC to max hearts (5) and then don't chat with them for weeks and weeks, does it decay? I have seen some people saying yes, and some people saying no !

The wiki says it's a 1/3 chance for it to decay if you haven't done a quest or spoken to them - however unsure if that applies to if they have max hearts.

I do not have any NPCS at max hearts yet, so I am unable to test this and couldn't find any relevant information on if they were NOT at max hearts regarding friendship decay.

Thank you all in advance !

When do you guys start Paving/Decorating?

I am currently very early game ust got mines basically) and am having a blast.

I had another save that I was quite a bit further ahead on, but made a new island because I had a better idea on what I was doing.

I've planted and paved a HUGE orchard day 1-3 so will have some nice income when I can get to making teas/brews. I am currently trying to decorate as I go, even if it is difficult without powertools / many resources.

My reasoning for this is that I find it more fun to go building by building and decorate / plan as I go instead of waiting until mid/end game and spend early game with a not pretty town lol

did you guys wait until you were early/mid/ or late game to really start decorating? I know that BPs and decorations come from exploring and NPCs, but I am moreso talking about the structure / roads / paving.

I hope this question makes sense !

ALSO, If anyone has any tips for paving/road / path ideas - please show me yours, would love to see.

Do Prismacolor Col-erase pencils (Or Prismacolor Premier coloured pencils) mix with alcohol markers?

For more context, I know when I use a normal pencil, if I don't erase it enough, the alcohol markers mix with the graphite and make things a little muddy.

Does anyone know if this happens with either: Prismacolor coloured pencils or Prismacolor "col-erase"pencils?

Thanks in Advance !

I drew and coloured a grey Duck

Experimenting with mixing colours with alcohol markers !

…A duck that doesn’t exist because I have yet to see a pure blue grey duck. My reference was a white duck.

320 Marker set - colour layering

I have the 72 Ohuhu set (Got it about 6-7 years ago) and it's performing super well, only had 2 colours dry up so far.

I know the 320 set exists, but I would love to know people's experience with "making" their own colours via layering.

i.e a yellow and blue layering would make a specific kind of green. Do many people who have the 320 set (or any set really) do that? why/why not?
