Glossier G8 + green

Glossier G8 + green

Hi! So it seems mixing a corrector into this skin tint makes a really good olive shade for summer. The problem is that on the skin, the skin tint is so sheer the corrector is giving more coverage than the actual tint and it’s looking obviously minty green/ashy. Any sheer green correctors that would still be effective? Should I maybe use a green primer instead? Also if you would match the corrected shade above, what do you use?

Deal breaker perfume recs

Is there a perfume that instantly disqualifies someone’s opinion on perfumes for you? For example, if someone describes Angel Dust by Fugazzi as “soft” I stop listening 😅 it’s way too beast mode and sharp for me
Alternatively is there a holy grail perfume that makes you trust in someone’s recommendations? Mine is Queens and monsters by Henry Rose and Cuir Beluga by Guerlain, it makes me wanna know what other fragrances you love!

Light-medium olive skin tints

Hi olives!
If you are a more saturated and green olive in the light-medium range, I’d love to know what skin tint you are wearing for the summer that is sheer to light coverage -ie not the foundations disguised as skin tints
I’m based in Canada and for where I am specifically we don’t have Versed, Ciele, About Face, Wyn Beauty, Tower 28 skin tints and Lisa Eldridge. Basically any skin tints with spf are a no go because of Health Canada regulations on spf. I’d love some recommendations!
If it is helpful, Summer Fridays shade 4 and Glossier G8 are both too dark on me and Danessa Myricks is a bit too much coverage for me, shade 4 was a smidge too peachy but worked with some green. Makeup forever skin tint’s shades were not olive at all, 4 was too peachy and 5 was too dark and peachy as well and the Refy in 140 was too light while 150 was too warm even when sheered out, the two mixed together was a better match. I feel like I’ve swatched all of Sephora atp so I’m coming to you!! My best match so far is Haus Labs 145

The theme is Moonlit elegance (?) inspired by sunsets, moonlight and the coast 😅
I’m torn because i don’t feel they fit well (size-wise) even though the look is elevated enough for a Lebanese weddings. Help!
Note: wearing silver and champagne is acceptable at lebanese weddings!!

Nars Alaska + blue swatches

Responding to a shade twin who wanted to see some of my other matches against Nars Alaska. i’m also Haus Labs 145. More under eye correcting concealers that work for me are merit in bisque, kosas illusion and nars custard. Other brightening under eye shades: nyx vanilla, Ilia 8n chiffon, Lancôme teint idole concealer 250 Bisque W. I can’t swatch those compared to the others because I don’t own them. I have swatches of merit bisque and Ilia 8n

Nars Alaska + blue

Hello Olives 🫒 I got a tan recently (hallelujah) and am now wearing the Nars Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer in Alaska in one light layer. I had to color correct it though. It disappeared into my neck with some blue mixed in! I have a feeling it will look too light in a few weeks but I really love this tinted moisturizer, I know it’s a decade old release but sometimes the tried and true are so much better than the new hype. Wanted to share my love for this product 💙

Hi! I wanna note i know i am olive. I’ve had makeup artists tell me I am warm, warm-neutral, pure neutral and neutral cool olive. I know makeup color theory is about surface coloring but I am curious if you guys think I suit the left or the right version look. I’ve also tried using the products I own and I don’t own many muted shades. So this is more of a warm vs bright cool comparison. As an olive for most of my life I was convinced the golden/bronzy look was most harmonious but I think I feel differently now. What do you think?

Here are all the lip liners I acquired in search of my perfect “mlbb”. Undertones are so tricky and with some of these shade names I had no idea how warm some of these would pull on my colorless lips but here we are. Hope I can help guide you guys!!
