RE2 Remake is my first horror game, why's everything so hard to navigate?
I'm like around a quarter way through right now, playing as Leon. I'm trying to find all the power panel parts. Zombies aren't a big problem for me, but apparently I've missed my chance to get a shotgun and like 5 extra free slots in my inventory? It feels like I need to go through every room possible to get items that I NEED for the future, or else I'd have to trek back like 1000 miles to retrieve it. Half of the time I legit don't know where I'm going around this map. Is there like a navigation guide point where I can follow to reach my objective? Please help!
FINALLY I had my first LD after taking me like months of trying
I've tried WBTB, MILD, WILD, all those methods, yet nothing worked for me. I was scrolling on reddit yesterday night and found that apples/apple juice before bed would induce more vivid dreams. I decided to try it out. After eating, I also listened to white noise before bed for around 15 minutes. I don't know what made this happen but man I had the coolest lucid dream ever, it was quite vivid. Only thing that surprised me was that I just knew I was in a dream, I didn't use any dreamsigns or whatever.
But I encourage people to try this method out!
is mugwort tea safe for teens?
title as says.
I want to start drinking some new teas, some people have reccomended me mugwort tea, though not sure if it's safe for me.
I'm not able to make this person appear in my dreams.
Hey all!
I'm not a professional lucid dreamer, I've only actually had LD's like around 10 times my whole life. I always wanted to dream about this specific person, I think about it every day to a point where I believed I would dream about it, but it never seemed to work at all. Lucid dreaming itself is hard for me too. I tried WBTB but it's been messing alot of my sleep up. I try to set strong intentions too about this person before bed, but nothing happens, I just get regular, uncontrollable dreams. Any help?
Are there any books ya'll recommend for overcoming (an obstacle, something), or career guidance/advice of that sort?
I'm doing a careers presentation in my highschool, I need to pick a book of some sort about overcoming career obstacles, advice, etc etc. Any recommendations?
Hello all, I'm in high school right now, sophomore year (16 years old). I know it's really young to be worrying about my future career path, but I'd really like to get a sense of what I'm getting into. I really like biology, but I'm not too into medicine or dentistry. I also wouldn't like a career that's too math heavy either (I'm really bad at math). I heard that biotech was a good one? Is there anything else?
I initially was looking into zoology, but later realized it was barely good on the job market + the degree is kind of useless.
Any advice will be appreciated! Thank you.
Hey guys, I'm taking AP in Canada right now. The thing is, AP isn't widely recognized or taken into account for most universities here, so I guess AP isn't as useful in a sense.
Being in Grade 10 right now, I've pre planned my grade 11 courses to be:
AP English
AP French
AP Chemistry
AP Psych (Grade 11 level for first sem, grade 12 for second sem)
Biology (Regular)
Functions (Regular)
Communications Tech (Regular)
After selecting these, I've seen everywhere that AP Chem is a horror to take and drops your average down. As a person who isn't that smart, I'm starting to think to just take regular Chemistry to keep my average up to increase my chances to get into a better university (I would rather have a better grade in regular classes than a lower grade in AP classes).
Not sure if this would be the right choice though, any advice will be appreciated.
I’m currently in Grade 10 and I’ve been seeing a lot of uni applications mentioning things like “as an assistant research analyst contributing to various studies,” etc. As I move into Grade 11, I’d like to understand how I can get involved in similar internships or extracurricular opportunities to strengthen my future applications.
I’m still exploring my career path, but I’m leaning toward biology, like wildlife or medicine related fields. Does that mean I should be looking for internships or programs where I can assist with biological research or wildlife studies?
If so, where would be a good place to start as a Grade 10 student? Any guidance or suggestions would be really appreciated, thanks!
I have no words at this point. I am in need of immediate help.
My sister (who is 12), has completely changed personalities in the past few years.
For context, I'm the oldest sister in my late teens, and I have a younger brother as well.
Every time my mom or dad nicely talks to her, or is nice to her, she always slaps back with an EXTREMELY rude argument as if she got insulted for some reason. Like, calling my mom things and saying bad stuff back overall, that is so disrespectful.
Today, my mom kindly asked her to open her windows beside her, and she went rabid, snapping back with, "CAN YOU?", and then started arguing with her, screaming and shouting until my ears popped. The thing is, every time someone has a conversation, she always says "oh YOU blah blah blah YOU blah blah blah" when we were being nice.
My mom and dad TRY their best to talk it out nicely, but it always ends up in a long argument. Then, when she explains why she's so mad, she goes on a rant about how she's always targeted in the family, how she hates mom and dad, how she's the victim, when she literally never was, she's just victimizing herself.
I don't know anything about what we did to her to make her like this, but it's been a huge problem; we haven't had a normal conversation with her in a long time.
She always stays up in her room calling her friend group all day and does not really socialize with us too much. I'm not sure if it is her friend group that may be affecting her, but I've seen her be so nice to friends and people outside of our family. I don't get it.
