I'm going to be 46 this year. Getting lean is hard at my age. I work out three times a week, run 9-12 miles/week, eat healthy, drink in moderation, things I never had to do in my 20's to be naturally lean (when I drank, smoked, and ate nothing but Taco Bell and Jack in the Box).
Retatrutide feels like a cheat code. At my heaviest I was probably over 180lbs. To get from the first to second picture was probably a year of consistent working out, eating better and running.
After a month on reta I'm firmly in the mid 160's. I started July 1st at 174 lbs, I weighed in today under 167 lbs.
I'm going to continue until my birthday 9/17 and hoping I'm in the best shape ever at 46. My goal is 15% body fat and abs. 🤞
Started the first two weeks micro dosing at .25mg since I'm prone to GI issues. Had a touch of GERD so I take famotidine with breakfast.
3rd week dosed at .5mg and 4th week at 1mg. If food noise and hunger return I titrate up slightly.
I know the body recomp doesn't look like much yet, but I feel great and the face slimming is really the chef's kiss. I feel like that alone makes me appear more youthful.
Other than reta I take finasteride/minoxidil for hair, and creatine with my morning iced coffee.
