Born on the 4th of July

Why is this film not considered in the same top tier as Platoon, Apocalypse Now & Full Metal Jacket? Is it because most of the film takes place out of Nam? Deer Hunter is kinda similar in that way, as is Jacob’s Ladder to some extent. BOT4OJ is more impactful than all of them IMO. It is a travesty Cruise didn’t win an Oscar for this. Gut wrenching shit.

Slow Cheetah > Torture Me

Note “ > “ in this context means into, not greater than. TM is actually better than SC. Carry on.

BSSM

Obviously their best album. Especially if you like both pre 90 and post 99 RHCP. It is the perfect combo. Carry on.

Grillos chips

Has anyone not spilled brine everywhere opening these? I honestly do not think it can be done. Love them though. They taste like my homemade ones. That is all.
