I got the two I wanted (Snufkin and The Ancestor) 😭❤️
I made a sticker sheet of them too 🥰
I believe the baby carrots were part of the installation of this piece hahaha
If you know them, please link socials. This made my day 🤣❤️
Been really enjoying the anime, but I am a manga reader as well. And I was surprised that my local library had them in stock! I think they only have a certain amount right now, but I'm excited to get started. :)
Are there any fun differences between the anime and the manga I can look forward to?
Am I the only one having trouble? Or do they release episode at a certain time on Netflix?
Hi! So I am extremely new to using oil pastels, and have only done a handful pieces. I have watched some tutorials on Youtube, to better understand techniques.
And I am curious about the correct way (or ways) to use white oil pastels. I see so many people add them on top of preexisting colors they have already added to the piece. Theirs always seems to go on flawlessly. But when I do it... it is never that pigmented, and can turn our muddy/ hard to see. I bought two different white oil pastels, from two different companies... but I keep getting the same result.
Can someone tell me if there is some magic trick that I am not privy to? lol
Thanks in advance!
I'm so proud of myself! I created a writing/drawing schedule to release my first comic in December 2026. I'm so happy I met my goal for May! ❤️ (here is a pic of my printed out episodes I wrote this month! M)
I'm just feeling proud of myself and felt like sharing lol
There was a convention, Hanacon, that was supposed to take place earlier in May in Baltimore, Maryland. I paid for my table which was $325. I was a little skeptical at first because it was such a high price for a con that had only been around for two years. But I have been realizing that a lot of conventions have upped their prices on tables.
I went onto their main website a month or so before the convention was going to take place, to send the URL to my friend who was coming to help me. And noticed that they put a notification on their webpage that said that the convention was no longer happening and would be postponed. (I also want to note that they put this notification on four weeks prior to me finding it on their actual main page. Which means that I didn't receive any emails during that time. And I wouldn't have found out the convention was canceled, if I didn't go to their main page)
I looked through my emails and noticed that I did not receive any information on this. So when I reached out to the event coordinator, she told me that the hotel that they had originally booked, fell through and they were trying to find another location, but that I would be receiving my money back for the table.
A month and some change has gone by and I received no emails about when I would be receiving my refund back. So I emailed her again last week. Every time I email her I get the same responses. "it's a legal issue that they're still figuring out and that they have no date as to when they will be able to process payments, but it is coming."
I'm not sure what else to do. Do I just keep waiting? And how long do I even wait for?
I have all the email traffic to show that she promised to pay the money back, but I'm not sure how much that even holds up. I have a feeling that they already spent the money and don't have it anymore.
I feel really bummed out. Especially cause. money is tight. And I could really use that money back.

I'm having trouble sleeping tonight lol, and I've always been curious if others on this subreddit watch the Moomin livestream on YouTube to help with sleep or comfort at night time lol.
