2d round of botox if 1st round doesn't work?

Moderate stroke left my sister-in-law's left arm paralyzed. 18 months later she tried botox injections in the hope of relieving spasticity. No result. Is there any hope that later injections could work? Do you have any experience with failure in the first round but success in subsequent rounds?

Delays in Swapping in New Tabs or Pages

I have just started to notice that Chrome, either in Google searches or new YouTube pages, is experiencing significant delays and hangups when I try to search a phrase or launch a new tab. This is new. It is as though the system gets hung up on a white nothingness. I can usually tweak it and cause it to launch, so it is not (yet) a fatal problem, but I am wondering if others have run into it and what they are doing.

Technical Grammatical Question about First Lines in Iliad and Odyssey

The first word in the Iliad is μῆνιν and the first word in the Odyssey is ἄνδρα. My impression is that most translations of the Iliad render μῆνιν as a definite noun, which strikes me as the only possible reading. On the other hand, while some translations of the Odyssey [e.g., Lattimore and Fagles] render ἄνδρα as an definite noun, others [e.g., Wilson and Mendelsohn] render it as indefinite. The former also strikes me as the natural reading, while the latter just seems ungrammatical, although I could construct an argument in favor of indefiniteness. Would a true classics scholar care to weigh in on this admittedly pedantic question?

'Official' signed pdf copy of Memorandum of Understanding?

I have been trying to get a copy of the Memorandum of Understanding that our governmet has publicly signed. Unfortunately there are many 'draft' versions and 'reported' versions circulating that look incomplete in one way or another. The closest and most credible versions I found were English and Persian versions originally on Tasnim News and, more recently, an X-posting by Iran-GOV. The latter text has all three signatures, as well as initialed pages, but very interestingly the spaces left for dates were not filled in. If anyone could provide a link I would be grateful.

Interesting example of an AI hallucination

The attached screenshot was the first thing that showed up in response to a search inquiry consisting of a description of a particular mathematical function. I did not ask a question but simply typed in the mathematical expression. The AI agent spit out a lot of information that was partly correct and superficially plausible but that was in one, crucial respect completely wrong. The series in question in fact diverges. It was interesting that I did not pose a question about convergence or divergence: The AI's erroneous statement was a 'bonus.'

America's Options, Apparently: More Bombing, Boots on the Ground, and Walk-away

Hard to take this seriously, but the inner circle around Trump really appears to be having a hard time choosing among economic disaster, quagmire, or presidential humiliation.

Guys who had a serious girlfriend in college but never again one for the same length of time or frequency of contact, what is your perspective on your experience?

'Serious' means going with her exclusively for a year, maybe extending a little after graduation. 'Never again' means nothing really comparable. How many years have passed since then?

The Persian title is متری شیش و نیم. I'm guessing متری is an idiom? And why is 'six' spelled سیس rather than شش? Just another example of the colloquial/formal spectrum?

Excellent film, by the way: powerful and intense.
