to whoever called the Prodigal Son the gold standard...

You were SPOT ON! I am an old man. I've watched a lot of kung fu movies, but somehow this gem alluded me. No longer. When some Redditor called the movie the gold standard, I took notice. And I can say with absolute certainty the Prodigal Son is by far one of the best kung movies I've ever seen. It easily checks ALL the boxes! I know already I'll be rewatching this one a couple times a year. I don't think it could be any better.

Thank you Reddit, Thank you Kung fu Cinema members. Thank you, dude who said it was the gold standard

panku kits?

Been riding further and further from home and beginning to wonder if carrying some kind of flat tyre repair kit is a good idea. Thus, I have a question for the longtime brethren and sistren here:

How many of you have ever caught a flat on the roads here? Like has it ever happened? I've driven cars here for years and never got one, so it just got me wondering. I don't have an off-road capable bike at the moment, so this question is for asphalt and concrete warriors only.... Cheers.

movies like The 36th Chamber of Shaolin on Netflix

Hey, it's me again. You all hit me with some superb recommendations last time I asked. Thank you all for the suggestions. In time, I will get to them all. In the meantime, however, I realised I should have been more clear in my request.

While I love all king fu movies, I especially like stories that occur in China during the Qing dynasty. If anyone can suggest some others available on Netflix like the 36th Chamber, please let me know.

Rhinowalk seat bag: 30L

Hey team,

Anyone have experience with riding with this brand? I've been told the quality is close enough for rock n roll at a 1/3 price of Kriega bags. Obviously, that is appealing.

My big question is specifically: will the seat bag even fit my XSR? Anyone currently (or formerly) using one? Cheers!

paddock receivers: L-type or V?

Hi gang,
looking to dial in my bike and I'll need a paddock to do that. I'm not sure if she'll take bobbins and the V-type receivers or if I'll need to go with the L-type for rear swing arm. Can someone help me out?

Cheers.

Beeline Moto II? thoughts reviews?

Anyone here using Beeline as their navigation source?

I am considering picking one up, but it's pretty expensive. Wondering if they're worth it, or if I'd be better served picking up a cheaper carplay style display I can tether to my cellular.

seeking a rear tyre stand

Not especially keen to order one of those 2-piece cheapo rear paddock stands off Amazon, but also not ready to order one from Germany, the UK, or the US either.

Can anyone recommend a safe one and also a place where to get it? Cheers

advice on buying a brand new bike

As the title suggests, I’m currently in the market for a new bike. I’ve been to a few dealers so far and, thankfully, everything’s been fairly straightforward.

I’m posting here to pick the community’s brains for any wisdom, opinions, advice, or suggestions on how to get the most out of the experience — and, more importantly, avoid getting completely mugged off.

For example, are the service plans and oil change packages actually worth having, or are they mostly a load of rubbish?

shoei fitting experience

Would anyone be kind enough to share their experience getting fitted for a helmet at either the Kyoto or Osaka gallery? Wanting a new lid, but figured I'd ask around first to get some intel on what (or what not to) expect.

All advice and thoughts welcome. Cheers
