My Canik TP9DA in a MCK. This is a nice little range toy! May be time for an FRT…🤔

Also my cheap eye protection was giving me problems so I had to close one eye to get rid of double vision. 🤦🏻‍♂️ I don’t know why it was doing that.

Derya customer service is top tier in my book!

My experience with Derya has been great. Even with a small issue like the slide lock they responded on Reddit to send it in under warranty. I did and couldn’t be happier! They fixed the slide lock lever and Ron, the gunsmith, even polished the feed ramp and worked on the trigger. He did it because he saw that it needed it. He explained this over the phone in a direct call to me! Amazing!!! They shipped the pistol back and, I don’t know if I should say this, but also threw in a couple of ACT mags as well! Customer for life right here! 🙋🏻‍♂️

If there are any new shooters in here, watch this video. I learned so much about my grip and I hope to try it very soon!

The main points that helped me were to make sure my support hand heel was actually on the grip of the gun. I was smashing my heel into the fingers of my shooting hand! 🤦🏻‍♂️ Also to focus on 2 fingers on the support hand gripping hard. I did some dry fire and I can feel the difference already!

Canik TP9DA in a chassis with a Simmons 3-9x50 scope. lol threw on a light and an offset green dot because why not 🤷🏻‍♂️. Man I hope the hate isn’t too bad here. This is just messing around and this is not my home defense or personal defense weapon.

DY9z possible fix for the ACT mag slide lock issue.

I am looking for a fix on the ACT mag slide lock issue.

It seems the follower on the ACT mag is too narrow and the slide lock lever slips off of the follower. This is why it doesn’t lock back on empty. The Derya mage follower does not fit in the ACT mag body. Seems like the slide lock lever fix of some kind would make this work……maybe. lol

Tried something on the Melik. Added a rail and light. I was hoping to go to the range tomorrow but it’s pouring tonight.

The rail is plastic and the light is aluminum. I’ll find out if it stays together on the next range day. lol
