Armour rules?

Hi, im attending my first ever comic con tomorrow (woo!!), and I was hoping to wear my steel pauldrons, gorget and tassets.

The website states that wearing costumes which are bulky or made of hard materials, which includes metal armour, require that you must have someone with you as a guide. Unfortunately I'm attending alone :(

Does anyone know how strict they are on this, and whether it applies to all metal armour or just full suits with limited mobility, etc?

I was offered a last-minute lift to the con, otherwise I would've had more time to investigate this, sorry if this post is silly

Any other British homeschoolers here?

How are you doing? Did you complete any GCSEs or go to college? Did you have somebody from the council come round and check your educational progress every year or did your parents manage to dodge it (I know several families who had "invisible" children that the council essentially never knew existed).

I did well educationally and have very few gripes about that. Not a fan of the under socialisation and the slightly cultish vibe, though (I was raised on the extremely religious side of home education).
