Gray banding

I'm not an expert, I saw people posting tons of those pictures here, so I guess I want to fit in? This is my first OLED Gigabyte GO27Q24G. I guess the banding is fine? To he fair in daylight you can barely see it and even during dusk I can notice it only when I pixel peep like 5 cm in front of the monitor itself lol.

On another note, I have to say, how impressed I am with HDR, it feels like it's really bringing the game to life. Bright elements are popping out, blacks are deep and colors are insane if I compare it with my previous monitor (Ktc H27S17, if anyone would be interested)

I was a bit hesitant with the purchase, since the monitor is rather on the budget end, but I had the spare money and upgrade to my PC (like CPU/ram/.. .)for +-350€ didn't really make sense (maybe except the storage)

Now I'm only stressing regarding burn in, lol

New to HDR

Hello everyone,

I've recently (earlier this week) purchased my first OLED Monitor Gigabyte GO27Q24G and moved my old HVA panel as my secondary screen. I am curious and I'd like to try HDR (I'm assuming that the new monitor should handle it was better than my old one. The old HVA panel was only hdr10 and not really capable).

In my OSD I can see several modes -HDR, HDR game, HDR vivid, HDR movie or HDR peak 1300. Which of those modes should I be using? (My main goal would be gaming in HDR), what's the best way to play in HDR? From my understanding the HDR implementation isn't always the best? Is RTX HDR any good?

My first OLED

Hello everyone,

I'm gonna be getting my first OLED Monitor and since Gigabyte GO27Q24G (I'm currently on HVA panel- Ktc H27S17). Are there any dos and don'ts? Any tips/suggestion how to set it up?.

I was also considering that I'd try playing some games in HDR, would it be worth it with this monitor? (My current was only hdr10 and results were rather disappointing...) Any suggestions on how to set HDR up?

Feamegen Not working?

Hello, is dlss framegen not working or do I perhaps have set it somehow wrong? I've just downloaded the game, was messing around a bit with settings to get my desired framerate and enabling/disabling the framegen did nothing. (RTX 4070s)

Fan orientations

Hello hello,

I've managed to break my side glass panel (I'm so sorry, reset the timer), so I got myself a new case - Montech air 903 base. Those 3 fans highlighted in green are the pre-installed case. I have available 2x140mm and 1x120mm fans from the old case, would there be any nice options where to install them to improve airflow/temps? The case can accommodate 1 extra 140mm in the front, 3x120l/2x140mm on the top or up to 2x120mm in the bottom. I'm open to all suggestions (kinda don't want the fans to go to waste (just to note that pre-installed fans are PWM, but the extra fans I can put in are DC)
