This is unavoidable. He will do it again.

I was diagnosed officially on 5th July, I always suspected I had it and it was good to have my suspicions confirmed at the age of 37. But honestly, it hasn't really "sunk in" until yesterday after I had my medication appointment. I'm being prescribed 18mm of Xaggitin, which all goes to plan, I start Sunday morning.
I had a moment of "oh this is real now" when I got the prescription. This is no longer a suspicion, It's a real thing that is going on in my brain. Reading about the medication, how it's classed as a Class B drug here in the UK. How I need to be careful with the drugs, not just in taking them but making sure that I sign the right paperwork, do the homework if I ever want to travel abroad with my meds. Even travelling in the UK, there are strict rules because it could technically count as a possession charge by the police if I throw my ADHD meds into a pillbox instead of the bottle the pharmacy gave me (I have since learned putting ADHD meds in a pill box isn't a good idea because it can spoil the tablets)
I think the biggest part is just realisation of it all. How I was growing up, how I am now. How I've been struggling with things like my university degree. I LOVE my subject but last year was so difficult and I feel like I could have made it a lot easier for myself if I was diagnosed as a child. But I think the worst part is that I felt like I'm broken in some weird way, that I potentially need medication to be a "normal" person and all the times I have annoyed people, or upset them with my ADHD tendencies made me a bad person, I almost feel the need to message everyone I know and straight up apologise to them, but the rational part of me knows that’s just my inner critic/bully speaking.
it's been a lot to take in and I don't want to annoy my friends and family by constantly talking about my new diagnosis, and after sitting here this evening, I just wanted to spew words into the void.
Thanks for reading if you're still here. I really appropriate it.
Didn't know what to put for the flair as it's more rambling that ranting/venting.
Anyway, I was diagnosed officially on 5th July, I always suspected I had it and it was good to have my suspicions confirmed at the age of 37. But I think the biggest part if it is just realisation of it all. How I was growing up, how I am now. How I've been struggling with things like my university degree I am doing. I am working towards a psychology degree and I LOVE my subject but last year was so difficult and I feel like I could have made it a lot easier for myself if I was diagnosed as a child.
Alas, it's been a lot to take in and I don't want to annoy my friends and family by constantly talking about my new diagnosis, and after sitting here this evening, I just wanted to spew words into the void.
Not entirely sure what I was doing with this post but I do feel a little better. Thanks for reading if you're still here. I really appropriate it. Have a cat, her name is Pepper, she believes in you!
She's been sitting on the desk with me and sharing the fan.
This is going to be used as an explosive platform, so its going to throw things like Mines, Molotovs and Grenades. running it as a Buggy with two extra crew members and Armour Plating.
Just picked up a Volkswagen Type 2 camper because I love the idea of making a hippy wagon turned war machine but I'm having trouble picking what vehicle type to label it as because it's not quite the size of a bus and it isn't quite a truck.
And recommendations?
Get in the car Shinji!
(Im not happy with the red car but yellow is a PAIN to paint so calling it done haha)
