Hi! I’m the founder of Bangalore Newbies, a not for profit, platonic community and I’m hosting a Make your own pottery session at Dialogues Cafe in Koramangala on 23rd May. This event is special since it’s cool and for a nice cause.
We’re at 20 people now and I’m hoping to get 10 more registrations. We’ll each be paying 400₹ towards the event.
The event is to support a pottery instructor I met at a beer festival a few weeks back.
He’s hearing impaired and he earns money through these sessions. He’s charging 250₹ per person and we can choose what we want to make, spend time on the wheel with him, and take what we make back home.
The other 150₹ is for the cafe since they are lending us space and is fully redeemable against F and B at the venue.
After a few days of drying, you can use paint the art piece at home or I’ll host an event again if everyone wants to do it together.
