Update on inherited ficus

I made a post a couple months ago about what to do with this tree i got from my grandpa who just passed. Ive left it outside since to let it adjust to the new environment and there was lots of new growth. I did lots of pruning as it was pretty overgrown and today i got some training wire and began styling. Im looking for some feedback on my wire job as i just watched a quick video and got to it. Thanks!

Sea time not necessary for SCC?

Im looking into scheduling my SCC in Ft. Lauderdale at blue water and see that they dont have any sea time requirement for the certification. I had thought it was 30 days? Is it just a givin that its required and they aren’t listing it? Im completely green with no experience currently. Outside of regular cooking, is there anything yachting related i need to be made aware of before taking this or is everything taught in the class? Thanks

In what order do i need to install the parts for this lifting shelf

Posing to be pretty difficult considering its completely enclosed, do i need to remove the drawer face? Everything is just brad nailed so i can take pieces off easily if need be. This is a drawer for a car camping drawer system/sleeping platform. Thanks!

Kettle smoked butt

First time smoking on this thing, definitely not ideal but gets the job done. Pecan wood and a few briquettes. Quite the battle trying to keep a good consistent temperature, constantly opening and closing vents. Got up to 700 degrees per the meter but that was directly above the flame so probably inaccurate. Ended up leaving it on for probably 4 hours and currently finishing in the oven wrapped.

Im a chef looking to stage at a scratch bakery for a week or so in june or july. Preferably someplace that does a variety of scratch doughs, pastries, desserts, etc. Carmellas dessert bar or Dolce italy are some that look like what im looking for but was wondering if anyone in here knew someone else. Thanks!
