Pregnancy sadness

I’m am surrounded by love and god and happiness, yet I am so sad
I feel so alone and scared and I can’t make any sense of this
I’m so excited and happy I’m pregnant and my baby is healthy
But I feel so disconnected sometimes with god.
I’m having to work so much my job is very demanding
And I’m very sick with this pregnancy I’m throwing up multiple times a day throughout the day I’m so fatigue and so drained for work
I feel like I can’t concentrate on my concentration with god or my pregnancy
I’m so scared to bring my child into this world with how everything is atm
At the end of the day when I’m in heaven with god my job will not matter the money I make will not matter but my family my children.
I really want to leave my job but I’m entitled to paid maternity leave so I don’t want to miss out on this and be a burden on my partner and our family, i feel I’ll be judged for not working and carrying my own weight by my family and his. I’ve been told my by dad I need to women up and get throw this pregnancy and I’m not the first person to be pregnant.
But this is my first pregnancy and I feel like the magical of pregnancy is being taken from me and I’ve still got 6 months to go.
I really don’t know what to do

How do you deal with someone being jealous of your pregnancy?

I’m 23 and around 16 weeks pregnant with my first baby. My boyfriend is 21, and although we’re young, we’re really happy and excited about our baby.
My boyfriend’s family knows, including his brother and his brother’s girlfriend, who is also 21. She has known about my pregnancy for over a month now.
When we first told her, she seemed really upset. She didn’t say anything outright, but it was obvious from her reaction. Since then, I’ve found out that she has cried multiple times because she wants a baby herself.
Yesterday we told my boyfriend’s grandparents. Everyone was really happy and excited for us, but his brother’s girlfriend became upset again, started crying and went upstairs because she was upset that she isn’t pregnant.
This is now the **third time** she has either become visibly upset, cried or acted noticeably differently when my pregnancy has been brought up.
What I’m struggling to understand is that she isn’t currently trying for a baby. She’s actually on the pill and has chosen to wait for marriage/engagement before having children. I completely understand wanting a baby and feeling disappointed that you aren’t pregnant, but she hasn’t been trying and hasn’t experienced a pregnancy loss or anything like that.
I know everyone is entitled to their feelings, and I’m not saying she isn’t allowed to feel jealous or upset. But I’m finding it difficult to understand why my pregnancy is still causing such a strong reaction after she has known for over a month.
What also hurts is that I haven’t had a single genuine “congratulations” from her. Instead, whenever my pregnancy is mentioned, she becomes upset, moody or emotional.
There was also an incident where we mentioned a baby name we liked. The name happens to be a family name on my side, including being connected to my grandparents and my late brother, and it also happens to be a family name on my boyfriend’s side. It has absolutely no connection to his brother’s girlfriend, but she became upset and angry about us liking that name too.
That really confused me because the name is meaningful to both me and my boyfriend and has nothing to do with her. It made me feel like even talking about potential names was somehow becoming an issue.
We aren’t particularly close either. We don’t spend time together one-on-one and we don’t really have a friendship outside of being around the family. Our lives and relationships are completely separate, so I don’t understand why my pregnancy is affecting her to this extent.
I’ve mentioned to my boyfriend’s mum (my MIL) that I’m struggling to understand why she is still reacting this way after knowing for a month, and she actually agreed that the behaviour is difficult but basically told me to ignore it and not let it bother me.
I’m trying to do that, but it’s hard when it keeps happening.
I’m also struggling physically with pregnancy myself, so having someone repeatedly become upset whenever my baby is mentioned is starting to make me feel uncomfortable about sharing what should be a really happy experience.
I would never expect someone to fake being ecstatic if they were secretly jealous. I completely understand having a private cry or feeling disappointed. But personally, if someone told me they were pregnant, I would congratulate them and deal with my own feelings privately because their pregnancy isn’t something they have done *to* me.
I don’t want to cause a huge family argument or be cruel to her. I also don’t want to tell her how she is allowed to feel.
But at the same time, I don’t want to spend the rest of my pregnancy walking on eggshells or feeling guilty for being excited about my own baby.
**How would you deal with this? Would you just ignore it and carry on talking about your pregnancy normally? Would you distance yourself from her? Or would you actually say something to her about how her reactions are making you feel?**
**Am I being unreasonable for feeling hurt by this, and how would you handle someone behaving this way around your pregnancy?**
