I’ll partake lol

I struggle to have a solid top few since I’ve seen plenty of very good movies but usually when I think of favorites it’s something I think about a lot and have an attachment to. Like Casablanca is probably one of the best of all time but it’s not my favorite. Then there’s a handful of runner up contenders for the list that just don’t cut it like Jacob’s Ladder.

For me at least what I think of as my favorites has more to do with my own fascination with it and rewatch-ability. Like Star Wars or Lotr could’ve made it pretty easily too but that felt even more basic lol.

Questions and affirmations

So I’ve been going back to school with intent to apply to a medical imaging program at Ivy Tech, a community college, but everything I’ve read indicates the demands are very very high, I could have a 4.0 GPA and a certification and still not be accepted.

I tried my best but in Anatomy 101 I left with an 89%. Medical terminology I left with a 96%.

My questions are more or less- do standard 4 year universities have as intense prerequisite requirements/standards for acceptance into their programs as a CC? Should I consider retaking anatomy? Is getting a certification a must or usually just a nice bonus?

I’ve spoken with others before as well as my advisor and most of the answers seemed to boil down to “it doesn’t hurt to try”

Course recommendations, should I drop some?

I recently decided to go back to school for medical imaging, chose to go to summer courses just to get started but I’m realizing that may be a problem given the workloads and the 8 week courses

Currently I am registered for 15 credit hours.

My courses are:

HLHS 105 Medical Law
APHY 101 Anatomy
HLHS 101 Medical terminology
HLHS 100 Intro to Healthcare
BIOL 101 Biology

Based on these first few days I’m not gonna have much if any free time, the advisor I messaged suggested doing only 2, but that seems severe. What are your recommendations? My thought is to drop 1 or 2 courses, namely the law and intro courses, and focus on the harder courses to get them taken care of.
