Just started using the KeePass apps on Windows and Android. I've installed and running KeepassXC and KeePassDX.

I thought I'd try the Keepass2Android version on my tablet and phone.

Reason: So it stays open longer (reportedly a week) before having to input the Master Password again.

I have KeepassDX installed and I can select my saved .kdbx database no worries. It's just having to input the master password more often than not. I’ve pinned it to the clipboard. I am the only one who uses these devices.

I cannot find the .kdbx database I've locally stored in My Files on the Android devices which was copied from a USB that's transferred from my laptop where I created the database, which is still being added to with more entries. It finds the text document that contains my master password but not the .kdbx file, which is what I need.

I'd rather keep the database offline. I just named the folder KeepassXC that contains the database. I'm actively making multiple copies and updating it when new entries are added.

I've lost count how many times changing ISPs once the discount which is either 6 or 12 months, period ends. The 12 months ones a scarce.

Usually, I've called the ISP that I was currently using at the time and ask for a better deal and rarely they do offer a decent deal or extension. It's getting to the stage I just don't bother anymore.

Then there's the difficulty of timing the changing to a different ISP correct to try and avoid the "we still have to bill you another month" stipulation even if you've cancelled. I've had to contact the TIO Ombudsman a few times to try and get the extra month charge dropped.

Thankfully these 6 or 12 month discount periods are not locked in contracts!

Currently with Kogan on a 100/20mbps FTTN plan @$69.90p/m for 12Mths.

What don't like so far is the random drops in speed and there's no customer account portal like the well known providers. At least they have a number to contact.

I'm looking into getting the "Free Fibre Upgrade". One thing which might need to be paid is running the wires the the WiFi modem Router that's situated roughly in the middle of our premises about 15-20 metres from the front. This placement give good WiFicoverage and if areadly have some ethernet cables running along the internal walls. Most likely the NBN FTTN connection boxes would be installed at the front which is closet to the street. The premises has double brick walls not gyprock walls. So running Ethernet cables is going to be difficult.

I've owned a couple of GT Media GT Combo boxes for the last few years. I noticed that the updates notices weren't happening anymore. Then I searched and GT Media have discontinued the majority of their boxes, urgh!

So I'm wondering if there's something similar in features to the GT Combo?

I use a 27 inch monitor for a TV so I need something that has

-Terrestrial Antenna for FREE to Air TV channels

and

-Android where I can play mp4, x264, x265 and install apps.

-Optical Audio aka S/PDIF ,

-USB A ports.

-SD and or Micro SD Slots.
