Half a million views of Honor Earned in under a month!!

About a week ago, I posted about the site Honor Earned, I created that showed veterans every single benefit they're eligible for, completely free, no account required. This sub was responsible for getting this resource in front of hundreds of new veterans and my feedback dashboard showed a ton of extremely positive feedback so thank you for that!!

I've just added what will be the final feature added for a good while outside of adding additional benefits and resources and addressing ongoing feedback. I'm building out a professionals network comprised of exclusively real estate agents, therapists, lawyers, financial advisors, and accountants who specifically specialize in veteran affairs.

Everyone hates looking for professionals like this because you sign up for one and get bombarded with calls for solicitation. Since I'm the only one working on this, I'll be personally vetting (excuse the pun) every single professional before allowing their contact card on the site to ensure maximum integrity.

If you know of anyone or worked with anyone personally that meets these criteria for your state/area, I highly encourage them to apply for this.

It goes without saying that veterans looking for these professionals on the site will be able to do so completely free, I maintain my original rule of not letting vets pay for finding these benefits or professionals in their state. Its pretty sparse for now since I just launched it but the more professionals that sign up, the more valuable this feature becomes nationwide.

Just from organic posting alone this site has reached hundreds of thousands of people in less than a month of launching, this really appears to be addressing a pain point in the VA system.

I'm about a week into the launch for my first site. I went into this project with no expectations with the internal goal saying "If I can help just one person that's a win." The site itself, in its final state will show veterans every single benefit they're eligible for based on a few questions such as location, branch etc, totally free with no sign up or account needed.

Starting out was fairly easy, there's so many federal benefits that most veterans qualify for but as I go on its been super interesting finding new benefits and state specific programs to add in. Currently at 235 added benefits I manually verify every one so working on a solution to streamline that while maintaining accuracy has been great.

I hit my first goal that I imagined would happen after 3 months within 1 week and have had great feedback all round. My biggest challenge as I'm starting to see, is getting eyes on this thing, I've already had multiple military bases respond to my cold outreach but I'm beginning to think a full fledged marketing campaign may be necessary here.

Wanted to share my journey here as I truly think this is a great idea and it seems to have helped a ton of people already!

I posted my site in the "internetisbeautiful" subreddit and have almost 60k views with tons of vets reaching out mentioning how helpful it has been so far.

I built this site that in its final form will show a veteran every single possible benefit they're eligible for based on a few questions. Forever free, no account required, no sign up, just instant results to benefits they've already earned. I add every benefit manually and am currently working on a solution to not only remain as accurate as possible on the benefits but also to consistently add additional benefits, and will be including everything from educational grants to state specific license plates, to local restaurant military discounts.

Check it out, I have a built in suggestion box for any recommendations/ideas/features, just an extra resource for our service members!
