Gift ideas for my 21f bestfriend.

My college best friend is turning 22 next week. We just graduated from engineering, and she might be moving to a new city soon for work.

I’d love some gift recommendations for her! Here’s a bit about her interests:

Formula 1 (huge fan)

Coffee (loves specialty/craft coffee or cool coffee gear)

Transitioning to post-college life (moving to a new city, starting her first job)

Ps: last bday i gifted her one f1 frame with bible verse (we are both christian)

And she gifted me a football jersey for my bday

I caught feelings for my best friend and now everything feels complicated

We’ve been really good friends since our first year of college. We used to share everything—gossip, problems, random bullshit, basically everything. We were really close.

Then, in third year, she made a new group of friends in clg clubs. I got a little jealous at first, but eventually I accepted that it’s her life and she’s obviously allowed to have other friends.

Somewhere along the way, though, I realized that I had fallen for her. I honestly don’t know when it happened or why. 😭

Our conversations slowly became less frequent, and we started fighting a lot. Some of it was definitely because of our egos, but if I’m being honest with myself, some of it was probably because I didn’t like seeing her talk to other people while things between us weren’t the same anymore.

By final year, my close friends already knew that I liked her. We’ve graduated now, and she still considers me her best friend—or at least she says I am. I’m not even sure whether I actually am anymore.

The funny thing is, during the time when we were really close, she used to tell me everything. She even told me about her senior crush in college. Back then, I genuinely didn’t feel anything. I never thought of her that way.

But now I look back and wonder when exactly my brain decided, “Yep, you’re in love with your best friend.” 💀

We’ve also given each other pretty meaningful birthday gifts over the years, so I know our friendship meant something to both of us. But now everything just feels complicated.

Sometimes at night, my heart genuinely sinks thinking about it. Not because anything particularly bad happened, but because I miss how things used to be.

And the weirdest part? I met her today during random meetup, and I couldn't even talk to her properly face-to-face like I used to do just basic conversation. I can talk to her normally over chat, but when she’s actually standing in front of me, suddenly my brain forgets how human conversation works. 😭
I dont want to lose her as friend.

I don’t even know what I want from this post. Maybe I just needed to get it out somewhere.

**PS: Why do girls love calling boys “BHAI” so much? 😭**
