Should I get carpal tunnel release?

I got diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome in 2022 one month before delivering my baby. It was very bad all the way until 12 months post partum. I've had it ever since but it has dramatically decreased to the point where I only get it when handling my phone or laptop or pushing a stroller or biking for a long time. Otherwise I don't really get it. I also don't wear any braces at night as I sleep a certain way where I don't feel it. They've done tests when my symptoms were bad showing I had moderate carpal tunnel and I've gotten steroid shots previously which cured all symptoms but came back. If I were to get pregnant again, should I get carpal tunnel release surgery?

Demonic image?

What's this demonic looking thing in the bottom left corner under my curtain? Is it a glitch? I was checking my camera in the Teams setting and this would appear. It got me scared lol

To those of you who got carpal tunnel during pregnancy, how did you live with the pain? My first part of pregnancy went great. Then I developed carpal tunnel syndrome the last couple months of pregnancy. The last month was extreme torture and no sleeping. I just cried. I didn't get steroid shots because I was afraid it would harm the fetus even though there are no real studies showing it does.

I want to conceive again but I'm afraid of getting carpal tunnel. I have permanent carpal tunnel since pregnancy but not severe only in certain positions. My WFH job doesn't help either. What should I do?
