The development of Monsters and Memories is way too slow for an October launch. The world feels empty and content quickly becomes repetitive. As much as I was originally excited to play this game it is way too early for the game to come out and start charging customers. It is going to get very poorly reviewed, they need a lot more time to polish things.
Anyone know if the devs said anything about addressing this in either a QnA or post? This has been an issue since the start of the game and more or less seems like the same type of hack each time
In your opinion why is there less interest and players this wipe compared to last? There are a lot of new wizard spells which have been asked for a while and a few other new things like nerfing rogue invis but a lot less interesting in the game.
Why do you think this is?
Steam’s AI disclosure is only required for content consumed by players (artwork, sound, writing, etc) and is not required for backend tools (code structuring, vulnerability testing, or anything falling within the business scope)
I remember checking out this sub when Highguard was taken down and a random Marathon post from here recently got pushed to me. I checked out the sub again and it seems to be more or less anti Marathon, was there another Geoff Keighley moment that I missed? I didn’t play either game.

Haven’t heard much about Ironmace’s new project since they announced it earlier in the year and took most of the team but do you have any specific hopes on the type of game it is going to be?
I am hoping it releases as another multi year early access project that strictly takes place in the outer space ocean domain (only for zero gravity swimming combat in particular). No PvE combat too, just a 40 second timer each match that wipes your inventory and somehow simultaneously duplicates your gold.
Give me something you like about the game because it is just batshit awful. I can’t believe I actually believed in this game…
Usually they would have some interviews or something and have wipe announced by now but I can’t find any info
I figured this is Dark and Darker related since a lot of people thought this game would rival DaD someday but it looks like most of the team has stepped down from the project.
At one point I think there were supposedly 35 people working on the project and it was supposed to be a first person dark fantasy extraction game. I haven’t heard much from them so I checked on their discord and it looks like the project got cancelled a few months ago but other members had to step up to inform the community.
RIP the dream, from the looks of their videos they didn’t even get to a working inventory system.
In one of the previous QnAs the devs talked about savings costs but wanted to avoid reducing server expenses/performance if they could. It’s been a good bit since then and a lot of the “content” has just been new cosmetics that I don’t see much of. On top of that it looks like some of their long term staff are leaving the company.
Did they drop an AWS server tier to save money? Amazon Gamelift was a key point they brought up in the past on why it was so expensive to keep the game running.
Did the Warlord arena tournament already happen or is that later this season? I remember hearing Vincennt talk a while back about not recognizing any of the contenders names so I am looking to see if there is a list or something
Last season they said they purposely made the workshop horribly expensive since it was a tactical counter to the mass gold duping (without having to reset the economy). They finished that statement saying that they were already prepped for a much more accessible and cheaper workshop on wipe yet nothing changed. They also said the new party finder system would drastically change the social dynamics of the game but idk what they mean by that
I wanted to wait at least a little bit after wipe to say anything since there is always wipe day jank but my performance seems to be a good deal worse. Idk if this is same experience on all servers but EU servers seem to be having a worse time than before.
