Sneaky new feature for Drive/Super Link/M4 users

Not sure when added, but if you’re not using one of the zones on your multi-zone device, it can be hidden from the Rooms view.

Valuables on cruise ship

Upcoming Alaskan cruise is my first ever cruise. Planning to take my expensive binoculars and camera equipment. Wondering what other people’s experience with this is and any tips for securing them or what frequency of access I can expect in my cabin. Thanks.

Refresher stuck at 99%

I am eligible for the SYT refresher course and thought I completed it today. Finished all the content then got all quiz questions correct. Followed the prompts back to the course home and it shows 99% complete with the option to resume. Resume takes me to the beginning of the course. Anyone else experience this?

Lens advice

Going on a weeklong camping trip (Scouts). Last year I brought the 12-100mm f4 IS Pro. Struggled with range a bit at some of the program areas trying to photo our scouts doing activities from the sidelines.

Recently purchased the 20mm f1.4 Pro for better evening use at camp. Considering swapping the 12-100 for the 40-150 F4.

Would appreciate any general thoughts on the 20mm + 40-150mm combo compared to the 12-100mm single lens option.

Container not starting after server reboot.

Had a power outage. Plex server (Intel Nuc) was on UPS and shut down appropriately. After power restoration, plex docket container won’t start. Giving errors about being unable to find custom devices dvb and i2c-16. These devices are no longer listed in /dev/.

Commenting out those device lines of the compose file still gives the error. I’m finding that these relate to the iGPU on the CPU. Running ls -la /dev/dringives expected output for active iGPU.

Any thoughts on getting this container restarted?

GPU no longer recognized

I have a RTX A2000 in a Dell Precision. This PC is connected to a UPS. The GPU outputs go to a KVM, which is not on the UPS. The other day, we had a power outage. The PC stayed on and was able to be powered down successfully via remote access. Now that power is restored, the PC does not display on the monitors connected to the KVM. When I remote in, the GPU is no longer listed in Device Manager and the NVidia control panel won’t launch with the message that no supported GPU exists. Seems like the power loss to the KVM/Monitors caused an issue through the DisplayPort cables and fried the GPU. Is this a thing?

Second body advice

I have an OM-1ii as my first camera. I’m considering getting a second body for purposes of close or wide FOV photos while a telephoto is on my OM-1. I’m considering the OM-5ii for the additional consideration of the smaller size being suitable for camping and other occurrences where the larger size body and lenses may not be desirable. My question is whether the feature and quality differences of the OM-5ii are such that it wouldn’t be suitable as a second close range or landscape option alongside the OM-1+telephoto?
