I have a 2001 msport 6 speed. I have 1 key fob. I dropped my key in the trunk and almost shut it. That would be a disaster as I have not been able to find a trunk release inside the car, nor do i have a back seat pass thru. This is really stupid imo. Is there really no interior release? Im hoping im the stupid one and havent found it.
Anyone else get blurry vision on the chemo cream? My partner is going nuts cleaning his readers, but i just read a side effect is blurry vision. His 4th application will be tonight.

Anyone else have a narcissist older sister with whom you have gone no contact? How did that work out? I did that a few months ago ( because of her raging alcoholism.) and it seems she is badmouthing me to distant family members, ones that I am not close to. I was expecting this, but it still hurts. 60f, diagnosed at 32. Curious to know if any genx'rs reading this had a neck xray when they were young? I have never been told by any Dr. I have an autoimmune deficiency. So im thinking it's from xrays that we're taken of my neck when I was 3-4... around 1969.
Also, would love some reading recs. My gp lowered my dose to 110mcg a couple years ago and I feel awful. Not every day, but lately, it's gotten miserable. Im looking to learn about diet and supplements for people who dont eat much red meat, eat zero pork and dont use iodized salt. Ive never been to an endocrinologist. I have an appt with one in 5 months.

F60 was diagnosed with early stage back in 2019. Always had glasses, vision was 20/200 in my 30s. Now its 20/20, apparently the catarcts torqued my lenses and I dont need glasses anymore, but i feel like I can't see. Im leaving things on the counter. Im not getting my work done. Im not reading like I used to. Im assuming the cataracts are messing w me? When im under our tent canopy outside at night, there is a muslin like "curtain" coming down from the cafe lights and i cant really see beyond that. Optometrist said since my vision is 20/20, insurance probably wont pay for surgery. What are cataracts like for you? What was your tipping point to get the surgery?
So, I know little about bears. and a lot of readers are going to go " shes an idiot" but im going to ask anyway. I see people being stalked/ chased by them on videos and in the news. In my head, im thinking " I would have taken some black cat firecrackers w me on that hike, or I would have them in my house and i would set them off to scare the bear away." Is that not a thing? Like, why dont people do that? ( other than wildfires.) We went to Yellowstone and had bear spray when we were hiking, but I feel like firecrackers would be a lot more effective in scaring them away. im seriously wondering.
Or clutch fluid. I have a 2001 e39 5 speed and the fluid is leaking. Shifting is getting "clicky". My partner told me it need to get on a lift to have fluid added. ( it was low and leaking when he bought it for me. ) Is there an easier way I can do it myself? The car needs to go in for some repair, but that's not a financial option right now.
I created a post a few weeks ago titled "done with him but can't afford to move out." You all were so great in your comments, i thought id ask for feedback on something else. The title says it all. Im 60, not dead and occasionally need to use the big V. My partner and I have not had sex since Oct of 2019. (Some day, I may tell you why.) But in the meantime, the backstory here is, I used it in the shower this morning, forgot it was in there, he took a shower after me and now the V is gone. Ive ripped the bathroom apart looking for it, just in case I hid it somewhere. Nope, he took it. And hid it. A) im embarrassed about it. And he'll make me grovel for it to get it back. And B) i feel he violated a very personal item. I know i need to suck it up and tell him he needs to produce it, but in reality I just want to cry. Like, how dare he! But if I say that, it'll be a big argument like " I was just joking you" or something along those lines. Or he may outright lie and say he didnt take it. Or say i dont know what youre talking about. (gaslight) Thoughts? I feel very violated, tbh. And it has made me very angry.
The lock pops up, but the door wont open from either side. This doors vapor barrier is compromised, so Ive been keeping it dry with a plastic bag until I can get it repaired. any idea how to get it open?
