About to run my first DCC game. Wish me luck!
So I've been playing a second edition d&d game with these guys, but then the game seems to have imploded on itself and the DM basically threw his hands up on it.

So I'm taking a couple of the core players who were really into it and taking on the DM as a player in a DCC game. Bought the book a month ago and looked through it. Didn't seem too complicated although there are a lot of tables but I'm going to be running it as a strictly zero level game at first.

Going to be running a world-based off of the game called "a dark room" if any of you have heard of that. But basically it's going to be a randomly generated map with areas to portal into some of the existing DCC modules out there.

Am I crazy? Probably... Will it be fun? I hope so.
What are some of the "wackiest" spells you have ever encountered?
reddit.comI hate people who use nail guns
Why do people use nail guns? Hammers are inexpensive, they don't require complicated hardware. Anybody can pick up a hammer and start hammering. No need for electricity or compressed air. Sure you might not be good at hammering at first but after hammering a couple of nails you'll get the hang of it.
Just pick up a hammer.
I've been remastering my old highschool band and the results are amazing. Anyone else doing this?
So back in the '90s I had this avant-garde psychedelic band called Trip Jupiter. People really liked our songs but we didn't have many opportunities to perform and of course after highschool we went our separate ways. But it's been really amazing to hear what we would have sounded like if we had kept on going and reached a professional level.
Additionally, creating SUNO tracks from actual recordings is a complete game changer in the quality to the point now where I'm always pre-recording my songs before creating them in SUNO.
Has anybody else been using SUNO to recreate their human performed music? I'd like to hear what you have.
Here is the latest album I remastered:
Making a Star Trek game
Spent several weeks working on my own mechanic system for a Star Trek game. Sitting at about 20k words right now. Decided to look up some other systems on YouTube for inspiration...
Realized I just literally rewrote FASA from scratch. FML
This is not a debate on reality, simply a hypothetical situation.
If you found out that the whole flat earth/dome thing was true, that NASA was just a psyop, that all the text books are wrong.
What would that mean to you? Would it affect your life? Would you have to live any differently than you do now?
