that post Trader Joe’s trip girl lunch 😍

plus this is after a workout

TJs snacks I bought today: spinach artichoke dip (I got the sour cream one this time), olive hummus (sadly not loving it), pita chips, pickle popcorn

the rest: honey crisp apple with PB/nutella, carrots, red peppers, green olives, anchovies, ritz crackers, tomatoes with tajin.

top it off with an ice cold dr pepper 🤎

not pictured: cheeses my husband sliced up the other day

plus I’ll probably finish this with the TJ lemon bars/ chocolate cheesecake bites!

I wish I married a man obsessed with me

Protein packed summer salad

I always had guy friends who were obsessed with me. Dated a few guys who were the same way but when I was much younger. I have an obsessive personality, so when i like you, you know it.

my husband is so nonchalant. He doesn’t show much affection or verbalize it often. He never seems desperate to have me. He’s not obsessed with me at all. meanwhile, I can be totally obsessed with him (it ebbs and flows of course).

I’m constantly telling him how hot and handsome he is. hugging him and giving him attention. initiating intimacy. I want to know everything going on in his life and genuinely care. It’s not that he totally neglects me, but I just know what it feels like to have someone so obsessed with you, and this is not it

I always heard the advice, marry a man obsessed with you, one who worships the ground you walk on, and sometimes I wish I had taken that advice to heart.

Edit to add all the ingredients to my salad. Back story… I saw a TikTok about all the benefits of eating a cup of beans a day, so I decided to try doing that for a month. It went great and I felt great, I missed a bunch of days but it was definitely effective. So I went to Aldi for beans but I was hella hungry and I bought a million things and threw it in this salad

romaine

strawberries

salmon

Sunflower seeds And pepitas

cottage cheese

hummus

boiled egg

half cup great northern beans, half cup black beans

i think I added crispy onions, not pictured.

homemade creamy salad dressing with high protein Greek dressing.

i thought it was going to be too but it was bomb. I ate the whole thing.

I love the faux freckles look but can’t perfect it

I wanted light makeup today, so I skipped foundation and just did the viral TikTok freckle pen, some bronzer around my face for framing, eyebrows, mascara, shimmer cheeks, pink/orange lip

i usually go with natural colors on my lips close to my lip color because i think pinks and reds look weird on me, but i thought this look would look cute with a pink lip (this was the closest to pink i had)

i was going for a “no make up, just sun kissed” look. Not sure how I feel about it. Every time I do these freckles, I end up kinda backing down and blending them in so you can’t even see them. like I can’t fully commit to the look. this is definitely the most I’ve ever done and left on my face for the look. my cheeks do freckle at the beginning of summer but most of them have already faded into my tan

open to thoughts and tips!

also do I look old AF? I’m wondering what age I look based on these photos.

I woke up craving a bunch of things

from a few weeks ago. I woke up craving home made Chex mix and Mac n cheese. we needed to go shopping anyway so I bought all the things. get home and start cooking right away. prepare kabobs for grilling too with veggies I needed to get rid of. This is mostly a plate of all the foods that were going to go bad + the craved Mac n cheese

this meal was perfect.

Sirloin beef burger with cheddar, pickles and tomatos, Mac n cheese, grilled veggies, grilled chicken wrapped with bacon dr pepper

but the chex mix I made kinda sucked. the mac n cheese was great fresh out of the oven but the left overs ended up getting tossed, and at the end of the day, i felt like i put in so much effort for very little return.

oh well, at least this meal was bomb.

asked my kindergartner to take these - inspo photo last

Wanted forth of July nails but haven’t been feeling too patriotic lately. Thought these were neutral enough but still celebrating 250.

I decided I wanted one stars, one stripes because I wasn’t sold on the stars and worried it wouldn’t look as good with the shape I prefer (oval). They look a little cheesy but overall I’m happy with them.

Also trying to figure out how to take cute nail photos cuz all my go to poses aren’t allowed here lol
