Does this Norway team remind anybody else of Cymru 2016?

The "golden generation" of a small nation, playing in red, and defying expectations, going deep into their first international tournament for decades.

The connection with the fans.

But specifically, Odegaard and Haaland are like Ramsey and Bale. One, a creative, forward-thinking CAM orchestrating the play, the other, a once-in-a-generation genius getting the goals.

Anyway, hope they batter England.

Stoner Rock DVDs

I haven't watched these, or any, DVDs for a few years but I found my collection again recently. These two stood out and immediate rewatches.

Any other documentaries/ live shows/ films in the stoner rocks scene that anyone recommends?

CS Pension app?

I'm organising my finances and everything else has an app (bank accounts, credit cards, pre-CS pensions, ISAs, investments etc.) But i cant find a simple way to track my CS pension. I get the annual statement, but is there easier way to keep on top of contributions, growth etc?

Sorry if i'm missing something obvious

What's the best post-Kyuss John album?

I'm not sure if this is an unpopular opinion, but I think JG sounds better on these records than on Kyuss records. Not the band as a whole, nobody beats Kyuss there, but specifically John's vocal delivery. I appreciate the rawness on early Kyuss stuff, but as his voice matured it, to me, sounds better later on.

Pretty new to jazz. Where next?

As the title suggests, I'm pretty new to jazz. I'm a huge music lover and record collector, have been for decades, I've just always had a bit of a blind spot to jazz for various reasons - chief among them the vast and varied history of the genre, i didn't know where to start.

Where I did start was Kamasi Washington's Harmony of Difference. I first heard it a few years ago and fell in love. Then I listened to other KW albums but they didnt really click in the same way. So, I did some research and went back to the OGs; Miles, Monk, Mingus et al. This stuff is all great, but I want to explore the genre beyond just the legends. Particularly modern records.

So, here's my modest collection so far. What's missing?Where do I go next? Any current artists that are essential listening?

Thanks!

EDIT: guys, I don't store my records like this. I stacked them for less than a minute to take the picture so the spines are easier to read.

What's your opinion on the "On a Back Porch" RSD series?

First time poster so some backstory: I've always grown up with the Dead's music. My Dad was a fan back in the day and he'd always play them in the house when I was a kid. It was mostly just studio stuff, particularly Workingman's Dead/ American Beauty era.

Anyway, in adulthood I have started digging deeper into the live concerts. I am also an avid record collector, so want to own this music on vinyl.

However, whenever a new (old) live Dead album gets released on a 5xLP they cost hundreds. Out of my price range. I have nice second-hand copies of Europe 72 and Skull & Roses but that was about it until these Back Porch records came about.

My opinion: they're not ideal, but serve a purpose for people like me. Obviously they don't have the coherent flow of a full live album, and can jump around between eras, but spinning one of these on a warm day with a cool drink in hand still does the job.
