obviously it’s old but in decent condition all things considered!!

my AC blows plenty hard enough and does blow cold when it’s less than like 82/83° out, but the air quickly starts to get warm as the temp rises and cannot keep my car cool enough so that I’m not sweating inside of it 😅 there’s been several times I’ve gotten out after driving and found it seemingly cooler outside the damn car. I‘ve had it looked at a few times but have accepted that it’s just a really big, old car that can no longer keep up

so now I’m just looking for survival tips because I will be driving this thing till it gives out! the interior is light gray so I know that helps but I don’t (yet) have a windshield reflector thing. obviously there’s cooling towels & such but does keeping the windows open at all while driving actually help? or something silly such as opening all the doors and letting hot air out before hopping in and trying to cool it down?

I grew up in Roanoke and my dad still lives there, however I’ve lived in Richmond since 2020 and no longer know whats going on in Roanoke these days 😅

I’m visiting my dad on the 27th (I’m working on actual father’s day) and want to take him and his wife out for brunch…. but I’m definitely on a budget right now. Any recommendations for somewhere that doesn’t feel ~too~ cheap and casual but would still offer a decent atmosphere and experience? Looking to spend less than $75 for three people, tip and all.

I’ve slowly gained 40lbs over the last 2 years on Viibryd, I’m 5’2 so it’s very visible & most of my clothes don’t fit anymore. but I’ve been at the same weight for awhile, so at least it’s no longer going up.

Viibryd works SO well for me (I tried probably 20 different psych meds over the years) and getting off of them is pretty much not an option. my psych has mentioned GLP-1s as a possible solution but they scare me, I already have weird eating patterns (I have ADHD so food is a chore) and a bit of a sensitive stomach. I also have Medicaid, so getting it approved is going to be really tough or even impossible, and paying out of pocket would be very hard. so I wanna read about as many other people’s experiences with this as possible while I decide whether or not to try it. thank you :)
