I can't find a group, I'm really frustrated, am I doing something wrong?

So, I've been searching for a cyberpunk red table for a couple of weeks now. And I just feel like I'm communities like r/lfg people don't really care how good/interesting/inventive you are, how much you're interested in the game and how much you're willing to bring to the table.

People (maybe you, reader, too) just see: fluent, but not a native speaker...? Russian? Nah, that's gonna be a big no no.

I feel like being transparent, telling people upfront about the nuisances is just making things worse...

I'm really interested in the game, and I honestly think I can bring something of substance to the table, but people just plainly overlook that. The last rejection I've got was because "chemistry isn't that strong". While we had (me and the gm) chatted, laughted, and had a great time, even though we're complete strangers.

Well, maybe I'm doing something wrong, I don't really know. Am I overreacting? Maybe there's something else I overlook?

Big thanks for all the replies in advance, if you've read through the post.

[Cyberpunk][GMT+3][Online] Established group looking for a long-term Cyberpunk Red GM

Hey! We're an established group focused on story, roleplaying the characters, atmosphere and stakes. We're a group of three, and we're comfortable with that. If you feel like GM-ing for us, feel free to add me on Discord (lazee9277). Also feel free to clarify anything on Reddit or on Discord.

▲ 1 r/car

Got two small scratch marks on a door of a client's car (size of a pencil tip). It's a new premium Geely. How much to compensate?

So I'm doing work unrelated to car stuff at all, and I really don't know anything about cars. Right as I was exiting his car I lightly hit a road curb.

I'm charging 200$ for my services. He talked about a discount for my services, just after the incident. How much of a discount do I do? Or do I work for free?

Sorry if the post is low quality, I'm just completely lost and scared.

You could see that the damage surpasses the paint layer (you can see metal, but I'm not sure if it was a primer)

[Cyberpunk][GMT+3][Online] Looking for a Cyberpunk Red table

Hey! I'm looking for a cyberpunk red table. I've got several years of experience with DND 2024, and a couple of sessions of Cyberpunk Red behind my back (but I've read the book probably three or four times by now).

The reason I'm posting is that my friends group wants to wrap cyberpunk up, while I'm really hungry for another cyberpunk action.

I'm really the kind of thinking, planning ahead, weighting out a decision kind of player, who enjoys meticulous planning.

My perfect group size is three people+GM, but I'm willing to forget this preference as long as the campaign sounds interesting.

I will make a character tailored specifically for your campaign, but I do have a vague concept ready.

Feel free to comment/dm me if you have any questions.

Also, I'm pretty flexible on time, if it's not after 22:00.

He/him, 21M.

[Online][Cyberpunk] Looking for a long time emotional investment campaign. Plans, gigs, consequences, either beneficial or detrimental.

Hey! I'm looking for a Cyberpunk Red group to play online with. I have two years of experience with ttrpgs (dnd 2024), and a couple of sessions of Cyberpunk Red behind my back. And I'm really hungry for more!

I'm really a planning, thinking, writing down and weighting out a decision kind of player. Looking forward to playing a campaign (I understand if you make like a test trial one-shot to see how it plays out).

I can make a character tailored for your campaign/other party members, but I would prefer playing solo, which I really enjoyed before.

The reason for me posting here in the first place is that my friends group wants to wrap things up with Cyberpunk, while I really want to play more (and I'm the most hungry for ttrpgs in my friends group in general).

I'm also kind of a book nerd, I've read the book probably three times by now (excluding the lore, I'm a fan of the universe of the Cyberpunk, but actually reading through stories is hard for me, since, well, reasons...), mostly focusing on mechanics and the playable content part.

And I'll warn you in advance about two things:

  1. Cyberpunk isn't that flexible, in my opinion, but I do tend to min max sometimes (when it doesn't hurt the narration).
  2. English is not my first language, my level is a solid C1 (fluency, I'm typing this out without any tools), but I do have somewhat of an Eastern European accent and can stuble over my words under pressure.

He/him. Feel free to comment or DM me to clarify things! By the way, the perfect group size for me is three people + DM, I just don't feel like people get enough attention otherwise, but I'm willing to change my mind or ignore that preference if you have a cool campaign plan!

Planning a gig. Redditors, do you have a planning routine for a gig? Gathering Intel, plan A, B, C? How do you go around your planning?

The title pretty much says it all. I'm new to cyberpunk (though I've played DND before), and missions like heists or assassinations take careful planning, in my opinion.

How do you go about that? Is there any check list you follow? I'm looking for any advice to get prepared for the job in my free time outside of play.

P.S. I'm a player in a campaign
