Question for naming my fantasy species!!

I had been struggling with finding a name for this fantasy species for a while. Then I randomly came across the word"faun" from the Roman mythology and I really like the idea and the way it sounds. I just dont want it to look like I'm misrepresenting/watering down Roman mythology?

I mean, this is something plenty of writers have done in the past right? With sirens, elves, titans... I just want to borrow the name for aesthetic purposes. My species doesn't have much resemblance to actual fauns either. What is your opinion on this?

For some context, my whole theme is how both humans and this fantasy species utilize my worlds magic in different ways, and they have been rivals now for some decades. Though it's not that either of those is inherently evil.

Please help because I'm really freaking out. I checked my pantry, and I had some stick treats that had gone bad, and now I'm spiraling. I don't know if my cockatiels seed pack has gone bad. There's no mold to what I can see, no clumps either. But it smells like absolutely nothing, no rancid scent but no nutty either. There was a nut that was soft inside the pack, but I think most of them are hard. There were also some small bugs in the same box it was held, not in the seed bag but in the box. My zebra finches food was spoilt.

Im freaking out and don't know what to do. Ill change it anyway but until I get a new bag is it too dangerous to use? I've got canary seed, but I can't tell if it smells good enough or not. The pack is basically new, it smells very nutty but, almost too strongly?

That's why I'm asking, how can I tell if the seeds are spoilt or not?

Just a quick question

I have one pack of nut pellets designed for cockatiels, i was wondering if my zebra finches can eat it. Maybe my canary too

It feels like every time i open up to my therapist about a problem that i have eg. How i struggle to make, maintain and take part in a conversation, she says some vague therapy language stuff about how its my insecutities and anxiety, and i dont really have this problem, i should just be more confident. This is not word for word but thats the spirit of it and its just so unhelpful. Its not solely that i dont have confidence i really just dont understand conversations and i wish someone could help me with that and help me improve. And i feel like in therapy it is not understood when i try to say that i actually have social deficits and its more than low confidence. Cos when i try to tell people they gaslight me that i dont have this problem. Thats what my therapist does and i dont know what to do anymore because i dont feel comfortable opening up anymore since my problems always get brushed off like this. But i dont know what to do, even if i find another therapist, i struggle to think its gonna be different because this is all my experience with therapy has been so far, gaslighting. It doesnt feel like therapists ever try to find a solution with me, i dont know where to find the help i need, cos i genuinely belieeve i need help
