WIP Sunset Lizard

I don’t play the game, I just enjoy painting the figures (courtesy of my boyfriend).

Today I learned how to use the airbrush to base my Troglodon. Pretty happy with it. Going for a sunset theme.

2 years, 12kg lost, PCOS weight journey

Not sure if this is NSFW but will mark as such just in case!

2 years ago the photo on the left was taken of me and I realised I needed to do something about my weight which was rapidly spiralling due to undiagnosed PCOS and depression. I wasn’t weighing myself regularly as I didn’t have scales, but I weighed myself at my parents’ house and was over 82kg at least.

It took me a while to get diagnosed with PCOS and I only started medication for insulin resistance in March of this year, but over the course of the 2 years I’ve been slowly but surely losing weight. This morning I finally hit (or was 0.7kg below) my goal weight of 70kg.

I do want to continue losing, but will also be stepping up my weight lifting routine. I’m quite a muscular girl due to my excess testosterone and I’m super happy with the way my muscles are becoming more defined with time. I’d like to see that last bit of belly fat disappear too!

I know weight loss is usually shown on success posts to be much quicker so I just wanted to share my slower journey because I am still super proud of myself for managing this!

For ref I am 25 and 5’3”

No clue what I’m doing - tariffs

Hi, sorry if this post is a bit naïve, I don’t really have any ‘real’ adults to talk to about this stuff. Bought a house last May, was with E.On at my previous address who really screwed me so I switched to Octopus because someone I knew had a RC.

I’m currently on a flexible tariff with an option to move to fixed. What is best? The estimate seems kinda crazy and I’m not sure it’s accurate considering I’ve been charged around £340 for electricity from mid February to the end of August (turns out they hadn’t been charging me for electricity since Feb so just charged me a lump sum now.

Any advice?

Refreshing linen colour

I have this pair of trousers from a charity shop which I believe is linen but the only label they have inside is the designer’s name.

I noticed whilst replacing the buttons that the pink colour has faded slightly and I would like to re-dye them if I can but I haven’t got any experience outside of tie-dye on white clothes.

How do I best refresh the fuchsia colour?
